I think I feel good saying that LK didn't die because he was sniffing out the wolf.

gut says it was more or less random

Hi, just wanted to say I feel awful about missing end of day yesterday, I started playing OneShot and didn't stop because it was really fun (big recommend) and wrote an essay like right after and by the time I thought about this thread it had been night for some time. I'm kinda awful about time management/general comprehension sometimes, I guess as a weird side effect of ADD, I'll set some calendar reminders from here on out. (as an aside, one nice thing about OOTC is that missing stuff like that is pretty challenging since people are so active over discord)

Also I guess I should say this now, this perilously this falls on my drill weekend again somehow (I guess it has been about a month since last game) but I'll try to check in during idle time, of which there will probably be some since the unit has us waiting around for nothing pretty often (perhaps the same could be said of all units, etc. etc.).

Anyway I guess I should reflect on the game a bit, so: I feel like Nakah is a pretty peculiar choice just because he generates a lot of suspicion on his own, and I gotta say I'm a little surprised wolf didn't use the option to kill twice right away since it's probably advantageous to do it earlier before the rest of town forms an alliance, at least I'd think so.

Reread EoD.
I'm not too sure if I believe wolf was active in it if I am being honest, although Charu was extremely not contributing to it. I didn't think much of that at the time though.

I didn't really have time to comment on the whole thing about Boney but the idea he got lynched because the viewing now thing said he was fishy is pretty fucking stupid considering it has never worked right in the history of ever. Ever. And if you can prove to me at one point it did promise it was not in the last 5 years. As far as I'm concerned this should have never been entertained.

Some more thoughts:

hmmm
The HMMMMM at the end of this after he claims that what he should should be considered a town slip makes me feel nasty. It's really bad form to claim such things and it reeks of TForce striking a nerve when he said it was a possible slip.

Frankly I would have agreed with DBP that it wasn't a slip at all but this response was more then what was really required.

Hey DBP can you cite where Svaz was critically thinking about the gamestate?
I won't front I like this post and the reasoning would be solid except that I don't think I saw the posts you saw so it makes no sense as is.

You and YoshL were the main 2 who were advocating for not lynching him. Other than that, who else had him as such?

He was a solid null for me.

I disagree it would be, just narrows it down for town quicker.

I would wait until people started reading several people as lock clear and then use the ability to clean them out quickly. On d0 everyone is still a suspect so way help town out?

I don't recall he was really talked about that much

And again I don't think he was killed because of reads.

It mighta have just been random/off the top of the head.

I def will never say that he was too townread to survive though.

I can at least follow the logic of seeing "invisible" (or guest) and then a post from someone not on the viewer list, is it generally unreliable/not useful though (possibly due to the forum version or something)?

People entertained it, it happened, deal with it

That doesn't change the fact that he was apparently "here" and "watching" and contributed absolutely fucking nothing in the last 20 minutes of the game while he was "here" and "watching"

No, you did.

There was no push for it until you made a big deal over it.

I'm also not obligated to excuse it just because more then one person did something, but in this case the act can solely be pinned to you.

Still would like you to cite where Svaz was critically thinking abut the game.

It's not.

The common fuck up it does is cite that someone has been viewing the thread all day when they logged off like last night but I've also have seen people post for an hour+ before their name starts to show.

It just doesn't work.

Following the phase, it got to the point that people would tune him out in chats as white noise. Not a bad tactic if one of them ends up being the wolf, though, honestly; marking oneself as a non-threat through something like that and continuing a reputation of it is nothing if not an interesting tactic, I suppose.

Also fwiw re: last game, DBP did nail me pretty efficiently as wolf that game by analysing my verbal responses, & I'm inclined to put more stock into his judgement and intuition as a result just for accuracy alone. I definitely wouldn't want to get rid of a strong player this early in the game, especially not with both the aforementioned above potentially up for lynch.

it's not much but it's better than last game

Yeah obviously I brought it up, that's easily verifiable

he was posting WHILE PEOPLE WERE TALKING ABOUT LYNCHING HIM BUT DIDN'T DO ANYTHING BESIDES "hey lmao these people picking an easy target"

and people asked him to do shit and he didn't and somebody said "here's not here" and then he posted "I've been here the whole fucking time" and at that point it was pretty compelling that he was invisible.
