You're playing poker with a tiger, a camel, an octopus, a porpoise, and a trout. You're holding 10 of diamonds, Jack of spades, and the flop is 11 of spades, 271 of petunias, and the "The Fool" card from a tarot deck. The tiger looks really confused by the cards on the table and checks. The camel laughs in the tiger's face and bets 2x minimum. The octopus immediately folds. The porpoise also looks confused by the cards on the table and hesitantly calls. The trout smoothly calls. Do you fold, call, raise, or run screaming?

Do you regret making that step chart for Death Piano or do you revel in seeing people squirm at it?

Do you know anybody who is a serious believer in the world ending on 21/12/2012, and if so, what would you say to him/her when 22/12/2012 rolls around?

Do you have strong opinions as to those poker/tiger questions that I posted in other AMA threads?

i quietly and slowly come to the realization that my mind is in some metaphysical state where my imagination distorts the reality i perceive and i attempt to control my subconscious in order to warp my senses and the world around me as i redefine the laws of physics to my whim, essentially making me a god

also i eat the animals

lol that was supposed to be a parody of hard charts. i basically slapped a bunch of pitch relevant notes together that aren't made of completely retarded patterns. so what do i do when i see countless strong players squirm trying to get the best score on a chart that took me an hour? i revel in it. a lot.

'Kay serious questions

In Karma, why did you make the 32nd trills in the introduction one handed for the most part, and why the jacks later on the 16ths?

I've been wondering that for forever tbh.

Also, got any new charts ready for ffr batches upcoming?

the one-handed 32nd trills were to distinguish the hihat 32nds from the synth 32nds. I felt that the synths would do better with the two handed emphasis and the hihats wouldn't need it. the jacks later on go to the higher-pitched chord which plays during the fill

to be honest if I were to go back and redo planet karma I'd do it much differently. there are not only a lot of pitch and sync issues I would go back to fix but also a lot of pattern and cohesion problems, to which I attribute the lack of replay value. I'm proud of what I did for that song because at the time it was a fantastic example of how effective and powerful charts can be if one employs smart and creative techniques, but it's far from perfect in numerous ways, and I'm not as proud in those ways. I think every note in that chart was deliberately placed, maybe not for right reasons or just misplaced, but there was a reason

nope. done with ffr. sticking to either sm or kbo releases, depending on which is more appropriate
