I agree with Chromer and Grandia about the space issue.

Ok, works for me.

But all other points aside, I couldn't even put an N64 in that entertainment area, so a PS3 horizontally doesn't work either.

...Unless you thought I meant horizontally in the first place. It doesn't fit vertically either. The only thing I can do is try to make room in one of the side doors but I've heard that even leaving it on idle in a confined space will make it overheat. That backup fan is apparently VERY VERY LOUD.

It runs quietly at all other times though.

Meh, we'll see what comes out in 2007.

I'm going to have to wait until the PS3 becomes: uber small and better games before I consider purchasing one.

Besides, they can't jump up and down without exploding.

Well anyway, for anyone who wants one, reports are coming in that due to the lack of profit from eBay nowadays (+$100 from 20gb, +$200 from 60gb), stores are actually able to keep some in stock.

So if you want one, the initial launch hype is ending and you have a chance of getting one.

(This is me trying to sound unbiased. I really want to scream "HAH! NOBODY WANTS ONE NOW AND THAT'S WHY THEY'RE NOT SELLING!" but I won't do that.)

Curious. How much would it cost to make a single game on the PS3 with the current Blue-Ray tech?

That's what I said! All I hear is about people reselling the PS3 but never people actually saying, "I WANT ONE."

I WANT ONE.

Way too expensive though. And it's not backwards compatible either, is it?

Meh. THP8 alone would be worth it for me if the damn system wasn't so ridiculously expensive.

AND THE WORST PART IS THAT SONY ISN'T EVEN CHARGING AS MUCH AS THEY SHOULD FOR IT.

I'm waiting for more games. I definitly will get it, but there is no reason for me to spend $600 dollars right now.

Not all. Subtract two hundred from the list of all PS1 and PS2 games.

Two hundred from 4,000 or something close.

And I doubt that there are that many good games on the exclusion list.

There's a reason I didn't say which games. I was merely trying to correct your "all" statement.

You know in true/false statements on exams those key words are all you look for? "Every", "All", "None", "Never", etc. Those are usually what make things false.

But the point I was getting across remains unaffected.

Does there exist a list that would tell me what games wouldn't work? I don't have that many games, so it's not likely that many of my games would be unplayable I guess.

I came into this next-gen console war with a bias towards the PS3. But to be completely honest, I think the PS3, while the most powerful, is the least appealing. The Wii is the only console that has captured my attention.

I do eventually plan on getting a PS3, assuming the third installment of the ICO trilogy is released. But in the meantime, I think I'll get a Wii.

Also, this is just the list of software and known issues.

They say there are no problems with Guitar Hero, which doesn't actually work at all on PS3. So 200 is a lower number than the actual number.

What? I can't play my Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete on the PS3? That just not cool. Not cool at all.

What would you utilize or withstand to get a PS3?

$2,500, broken jaws, shootings... babies?

EDIT: I'm actually glad to see Kaz Harai in charge now. He's a much better guy than Ken Kutaragi in my opinion.
