But I am hype for the new IIDX for it just being a new IIDX release and the release of lincle on home PC's (which will be amazing once i get it to work). And all the speedmod additions to tricoro plus HD is amazing. I do have to agree though the process of getting everything is highly tedious

Plan 8 is more readily available as they decreased the requirement on thor's hammer significantly to a AA pass with hard clear rather than a AAA with EXHC.

On this note i believe there still isn't a pass on plan 8 cause the ending is too ridiculous

there's always been kind of a stupidity filter that has bugged me about the politics of music games

non-Konami music game does something stupid: intuitive reaction "so ghetto wow this game is dumb, why would anyone play this nothing makes sense lol."

Konami music game does something stupid: "hahaha IIDX is crazy!!" and they just accept it thinking there's some logic to it they're not picking up on.

what bugs me is how anti-climactic that song is for their 20th anniversary game. you'd think that they would have wanted something more... dramatic for their big song unlock thing. unless there is one and no one's found it yet, I guess.

but then, this whole game has missed the "it's our 20th game" angle. it's as if they just picked themes out of a hat and someone was like "ok let's do three colors this time"

tl;dr: months of pent up rage after lurking the development news surrounding this game

Plan 8 is dumb as fuck and is lucky enough to be AAAable due to the amount of scratches as well as chord streaming in the song. HOWEVER, the song follows the IRbeat system with colors Tricoro Red, Yellow, and Blue. Where they add in the extra set of songs for each one. So plan 8 probably isn't the big boss song.

Guys who investigate into the arcade's game data have noticed empty slots for future songs, but they're most likely crossovers from other Bemani games such as Hollywood Galaxy.

I remember it was like that with DDR before ITG came out and brought a lot of players standards back up.

Though a lot of people (mostly ZiV regulars) still are like that with the recent DDR games.
