Element 3D
Don't know how many of you actually took the time to learn After Effects, but I know there's a few. There's a brand new plugin that was developed over at VideoCopilot.net that allows you to do some really amazing things with actual 3d geometry inside of AE. It's definitely worth checking out. (I know I'll be using it all the time that's for sure)
https://www.videocopilot.net/products/element/ I made this just now after playing with the plugin for a few hours. It is the ONLY plugin that was used to make this in AE, so you can get some really nice results without any extras like Trapcode or anything. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=od4ECZf1joc&hd=1 Try it out if you've got AE, it's pretty fun to play with. |

Re: Element 3D
Very cool looking plugin, definitely a game changer I think. I'm still not great at AE, I should have dedicated more of my time to learning it :l when I get comfortable enough to be able to do pretty much anything in it (on it's own) I'll be getting this plugin for sure.

Re: Element 3D
Just took a gander on what this actually does. The ability to import animations too is a huge plus. Might have to take a looksies on what can be done with this thing.
But being able to animate something first in some 3D software and then putting it in After Effects makes me go squee since I love animating with After Effects, heheh. It's too bad I'm kind of poor ... Nice experimentation by the way in that video.
