Rubix: you don't even need Bayes theory for the mental 5 probability question...
just realize that with the 1st one being black, you have .5 chance of it being a space. so you have 51 cards left to pick from, and 50% shot at 13 spades and 50% shot at 12 spades... aka, 12.5/51. simple as that. i guess it probably is Bayes theory, just done in my head, but it's fairly straightforward and intuitive.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament (100,000 Credit Grand Prize)
I feel dumb, I was aonly able to get to one of the mental challenge, the number 2 and I didn't get to it the right way. Here's what I did:
I went to the furms search and then I secrhed for "omnipwn" in threads, it gave me a list, I clicked on "FFR Scores" thread. When I was there, I searched in the thread for "omnipwn" and it gave me the mental challenge's post lolol. Also, fort the Round 3, I don't even have WingDings 3 and I searched for it all over the web, does anyone know where to get it or in which program it should be in my computer (standard PC, no mac). |

should be on MS Word. i use OpenOffice and didn't have it either... so i specifically told rubix "uh, dude... i don't have wingdings 3 on openoffice" so he was like, "oh? really? um... here. let me give you a SS of the characters that you'll need."
just have to be proactive and actually know what you need, even if you don't have it.

To tell the truth even with it, I would not have been able to do the mental challenge so... I'm just saying.

I understand that you can also use a symmetry argument -- I just like Bayes rule lol |
