Dark Water
I know there is a new Americanized version of this original Japanese horror movie.
Has anyone else seen it? I frankly thought it was pretty good, minus the fact that it was in japanese, and I had to read subtitles. I dunno, it didn't really bug me, I prefer subtitles, over dubbing, but a fully english version would be good, and I'm hoping they stick to the original story line. ... On the commercial I've noticed it says "From the writer of The Ring", as opposed to the producer... I've heard that The Ring was originally a japanese storyline, but I didn't know Dark Water was originally written by the same guy... Discuss. |

Pirates of Dark Water did indeed own.
Too bad it never resolved its main storyline though :( |

The Japanese version ruled. I saw it a couple of years ago and it was genuinely scary, so I'm pumped for this one.

It was pretty bad, hte story was actually pretty good, and they resolved everything, but the scary was stupid. A lot of the scary was they just built up the suspense through music, and then it was a false scare, and once when that happened everyone screaemed, it pissed me off. Also, apparently whe {SPOILERS ALERT] The main leade I don't even know her name found the body of the drowned girl in the water tank she oppened her eyes, everybody jumped and a bunch of people screamed. I blunk and I was like what.

I wanted to see Dark Water so bad but I couldn't get anyone to go with me. -.- No one really wanted to because they were eaither scared, didn't have money and wouldn't let me pay, or they were busy. So do you think it's worth seeing?
