stepmania vs. dwi

so i wanted to see who would win???

just say which one u prefer and give a reason ex.

i would go with stepmania cause it has good graphics

first one to get to 20 wins

SM because I haven't played dwi >_<

Edit: This should be a three way battle, I vote FFR because you can check your ranks and you don't have to take a ton of time out to find some stepfiles.

DWI used to be more popular, but I think it's now pretty much shifted to SM.

And for some reason the songs load good and smooth on stepmania. When i tried dwi the songs just start at me without saying go or anything. Which is impossible to get an AA. and stepmania supports dwi files and sm files while dwi only supports dwi files.

I used to use DWI because I had problems with StepMania, which is what people usually seem to recommend. I got those problems solved, and with a new computer, there haven't been any issues, so I only use StepMania now. Actually, I've been playing FFR more than StepMania; I used StepMania more on my old computer when it couldn't handle FFR very well anymore.

Basically, I'd go with StepMania, but mostly because others do. DWI was OK when I used it though.

So and i think another reason why stepmania would win is because you have a song limit of 2,049 songs and in stepmania you don't.And in stepmania......you actually have the edit steps screen to make your own steps..

This thread has no purpose, everyone knows and agrees that SM is better than DWI. I don't understand why a thread has to be made to prove that.
