Random Idea on scoring with higher than single digit; set a base value greater than 1 where that becomes the minimum points given (maybe Total Participants - 8 = cutoff base point value). (It'd have to be tested) In this case; we all get 13 and the last place gets 5. (in the later games if there are less than 8 AAA it just becomes 13 for AAA 6 for the 8th place, 5th for everyone else.)
~That'd actually still be awkward...
