acquisitioner blocker still does their thing if they die
the wolf roleblocker still blocks the person if they die
the wolf making the nightkill still makes the nightkill if they die

the exceptions to this trend are few and far between

and yes, I do think roleblocker/doctor never being able to target the same person two nights in a row should be something that should never happen, just doesn't appear to be the case here

The only down side would be if Boomer doesn't tell us what he's shooting and he happens to hit the bulletproof wolf.

In this case, telling the target has value unlike last phase.

nothing stopped their action from being resolved, so its more that they get the check THEN they die, or even that two things happen at the same time

boomer can claim his shot ahead of time, it also lets the person, if they're a role, claim it

he's probably just getting blocked again (unless Xiz says that this is not how the roles resolve) unless we hit the roleblocker today or the town blocker is a hero tonight.

Fantastic... So we absolutely need to find this roleblocker today or else our vigi is just stuck in an endless loop of never being able to shoot anyone...and we've got a 1/17 chance of doing this

its a bit of a bad feeling when you need to find a very specific wolf power role
just try and find the wolves, like always, and we'll see what happens
don't overemphasize looking for "the roleblocker" or you'll get all turned around
