Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
So... are we all just going to throw random votes out and hope we hit 5 on someone so the wolves don't get to pick the kill?
We need to do something about this, and if we just sit until the end of the day the wolves are going to get to pick the next two candidates to go. |

Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
Well, we could just announce one name to vote for on the thread, and everyone votes for them, then as long as most people vote for them, they wouldn't have control. God this no public voting is making my brain itch.

Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
the whole point of voting, at this stage of the game anyway, is to get information about people's stances/suspicions/etc. If we all massively lynch someone then there's no information to be gained (ie the wolves just go with the crowd).

Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
Uh, probably one of the main points of sending in votes instead of posting them is so that they're anonymous. A lot of people base their suspicions on who people vote, and now that they don't have this information it's a LOT harder to place a vote.
They could write 4 paragraphs on why they're going to vote this one person, but then vote for a completely different person when it comes to PMing Fojar. That's one of the main reasons it makes this game harder to trust people and harder to find the wolves. Hopefully there are only 3.

Observer, what have I said about looking at me while I take a shower you perv?
Anyways, does Fojar want us to send in our votes to him through the PM or do we vote here in the thread?

Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
Back at school finally. I'm in favor of revealing votes, be it before or after the lynch. As was already mentioned, numbers will have to add up which will force the wolve's hand at least a bit. If we screw up and cast too many votes against a human, they get their way anyways and that person is dead, but if we get lucky and get enough pressure on a wolf, they have to start making some choices which may eventually back them into a corner.
Also, I think it is 100% completely necessary that we decide on a name and get as many votes on that person today, Day 1. If we don't and we let people vote how they please, it's quite obvous the wolves get another free human kill, today and possibly in the future. If we decide on a name together we at least has the possibility of lynching a wolf, whereas if we left it up to the individual to vote how they want, the wolves get their way. So worst case scenario, we're out a human just as if we hadn't cooperated, but best case we get a wolf. Unless someone has a counter-point, I think this is clearly the best route, at least for Day 1.

Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
IF YOU SEE THIS AND YOU HAVEN'T POSTED YET PLEASE DO SO.
We need to know who's going to be active. We need to know who's going to post. We also need to know who's going to get dropped due to activity so we can kill one of them. So far, these people haven't posted. -- 4.vashthestampede0987 (Pyro31191) 9.wilkin (Wilkini Evili) 13.nijatwo (RebelNija) 14.petpro32 (NEED YOUR AIM) 15.mattc16 (mattc16mcfc) 17.omeganitros (OmegaNoxim) 18.guidohunter (ElSoyokaze) -- Out of the aforementioned people, I would most like to see petpro go, simply based on: 1: he hasn't posted once. 2: He seems to be not very well known, and I'm assuming that means he hasn't played before (not here at least). IF THAT IS WRONG PLEASE CORRECT ME. 3: We don't even have his aim rofl. I have nothing against petpro, and this is ALL subejct to change when people read it and suggest something else, but unless we want the wolves to pick the kill today and tonight (there goes two more vets) we need to majority vote someone. I'm up for ideas, and I'm starting with a suggestion. - Edit because I copied fojars big text and left in the quote code. |

Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
Okay, I'm totally for revealing votes after lynchings. As Jurs said, we're at a great disadvantage not knowing who voted for who, and with the "numbers have to add up" logic, revealing votes fixes this problem.
P.S. I'm a total douchebag and I'm sorry I've been ignoring this game. Even as I type this, my mind's not really into the game and my brain is going "RAMEN NOODLE SOUP RAMEN NOODLE SOUP RAMEN NOODLE SOUP". And if we're going to decide on one person to vote for today....Any suggestions? |

I know that Wilkin has been busy this weekend and he won't have an internet connection until tomorrow. This should explain HIS inactivity.

Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
This whole nominating one person thing seems kind of counterproductive to me. Mainly because there's no information to be had from it. If we all push for votes on one person, then revealing votes later is pointless, as no new info is gleaned, nor can we question anyone's voting rationale (i.e. can't distinguish bandwagoning humans from bandwagoning wolves). And that means we're right back where we started, still without any info (well, the wolfings I suppose), and have to repeat the process, and so on.

Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
We won't get any new info, but is the wolves potentially getting to pick the lynch worth getting info?
I'm open to any ideas right now, but I want to make sure what we do is the best thing we can do. Anyone paying attention, please interject. |

Re: TWG XXXVIII: THE RACE FOR THE PRESIDENCY
like I said earlier, if the wolves all vote together and cause the lynch they'll have to either explain that later or lie when we reveal our votes day two. and I'd rather sift through lies than keep taking stabs in the dark.
