Default Lunar Saturation and The Brain of The Moon

Which game are these songs from? The melody seems very familiar, but I'm not sure.

I find it odd that Rebirth would want to step what is essentially the same song twice, haha.

Also, even if you've never played Touhou, the melody probably does sound familiar. It sounded familiar to me when I first heard it and I'd never played Touhou before.

Yeah. How funny, it reminded me of a song from Rudra no Hihou, a game that's not very famous.

actually, I played the beginning part of this on a piano, and somebody told me that it had sounded familiar to them, and they didn't know anything about touhou either. I think they said it they remembered it from a chinese movie.

Both Lunar Saturation and Brain of the Moon are music arranges of the song "Gensokyo Millennium ~ History of the Moon" composed by ZUN. This song can be found in the Touhou Project series, specifically "Imperishable Night", the eighth game in the series and the third one released for Windows.

Here is the original:

And we actually have more Touhou arranges located in the Arcade section, like Lunatic Princess, The Dream of Scarlet, Love-Coloured Master Spark, Plain Asia, Pupil of Frezy, and more.

I love Lunatic Princess. But why are there so many versions of the moon song?

EDIT: By the way, I loved those 3 banging their heads in your signature... I just had to copy them.

Except Plain Asia is dBu's remix and is called Pure in Asia. But yes, plenty of Touhou in there. There are also Kil's Touhou representations, like Glove Stage and Kil Stage. Both really fun files. I like dBu's Lunatic Princess a lot too, but the stepfile is puke.

And, there are a billion versions of just about all the Touhou songs; people just decided to step History of the Moon a lot.

Marisa and Alice's themes are better IMO.
The music is half of the reason I still play Touhou.

"Don't worry. I'm a wizard" uttered Keywii. And with that, Foil's penis grew back.

I tried searching for Touhou games, but I don't know where I can download them.

Sorry, but you have to buy them. Paletweb is the best place to get it from.

There was that place, but it turned into a forums only place, and the games are hard to find there.

Of course, in the internet there are other ways to obtain them since the game itself aren't big at all, but I encourage you not to.
