Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 7
I don't understand why somebody would even spend their time organizing noise. I also don't get how someone could enjoy it. Might as well listen to the static noise from a television.

~sUbJeCtIvItY~ also static noise sounds different compared to laserguns to me there's still stuff that pierces my ears (blenders in real life)

I do enjoy listening to Robotomy, just that I don't think the general consensus would. A lot more people enjoy MOSAIC.WAV than you think though EDIT: Noise is great to listen to from time to time. on a less serious note, step Spiral Field Velocity instead it's better than Robotomy holy shit that organising noise video is beautiful Last edited by EzExZeRo7497; 12-11-2013 at 11:45 PM.. |

When you take noise and put a pattern in it, then it becomes cool to listen to. For people who hear patterns in music more than pitches, stuff like flashcore is really interesting. I like hearing rhythmic variation, what I find uncomfortable is really bad singing (i.e. pretty much everything I've ever heard from MOSAIC.WAV) If you enjoy off-key Japan girl squeaking and want to put that into FFR, that's cool. Make a technically sound file to it and I will still look at it for its technical merit and advocate that it gets into FFR. I won't take what you claim to enjoy away from you, that would just be selfish. Holy shit that's genius haha

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 7
I have perfect pitch too just sayin' (Robotomy is in G minor for 1st half; D minor for 2nd)
but I enjoy rhythmic and tempo dissection more than anything

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 7
Well we're all here for fun. Many people enjoy listening to the music of the songs that they play. If a song is just noise, I can't see many people enjoying the file unless they put it on mute.

Re: 9th Official Tournament -- Round 7
A weakness!
Your challenge should you choose to accept it is listen to every song on http://www.youtube.com/user/HOLWAGERKARAOKE and pick one to step. Self improvement and what-not. |

Doesn't mean I'm not enjoying it. Might have to listen to this channel a bit and make a quality dumpfile to one of them. Objectively bad singing with objectively bad stepping, how can you go wrong? I did the same thing with Kyuin, even though it physically hurt to listen to it while stepping, I was also laughing the entire time at how absurdly bad I feel the song is. Basically I can take pleasure in how uncomfortable bad singing makes me :P
