Kung-Fu Hustle!
I just got back from this movie a few minutes ago, and I was thoroughly impressed and entertained. I haven't laughed this much out loud in a movie since I don't know when. The fight scenes were choreographed beautifully and the humor continued in every battle. There were tons of awesome effects and crazy fights that you almost forget that it is in subtitles.
You have to see this movie.

Idiots, anyway. I saw the movie tonight as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the roller-coaster experience of this movie with its laugh-out-loud humor and beautifully choreographed fighting. Stephen Chow has great talent in directing a movie and Kung-Fu Hustle pulls no punches. I just love the part when The Beast fight Paris and Helen of Troy in the Axe Gang's casino, and HoT used the Lion's Roar with the bell. The Matrix's got nothing on this movie.

Kung-Fu Hustle
Orli and I saw this last night. It was great. Good action, yet amazingly odd and funny. There were an unbelievable amount of references to other movies in it... so, although I didn't realize this before the movie, KFH is definately a spoof on modern American sci-fi/unrealistic action movies (references to matrix, spiderman, hero/cthd, kill bill, etc).
We recommend it to all of you.

I third the recommendation.
Probably not as good as Shaolin Soccer... but still pretty good. |

Yeah, this is so far the greatest movie I've seen this year, I liked it better than both Shaolin Soccer and Sin City, which I thought couldn't have been topped.
Stephen Chow is a genius.

As for the movie...it looked stupid from the previews...but I guess I'll check it out. Squeek edit: It's because I'm awesome. I even asked LD before I did it and he told me he'd never done it before either. A winner is me. |

I saw this last night, and although I usually am usually very difficult to entertain at the movies, I must say that this was quite entertaining. Some parts I felt were a bit overdone, but overall I had quite an excellent time.

I thought it was going to be stupid, but hearing all this praise I guess I'll have to go see it.

If it's better than Kung-Pow (Enter the Fist) then I'll definitely go see it.
EDIT: Wow, I can't type this morning. |
