Twitter just always seemed like an attention site to me. Facebook is a large online forum where I can talk with people to discuss when events are happening and such.

For facebook I don't post many statuses, but I do check it often to see if anything comes up.

Twitter is essentially just facebook statuses with character limits. While I do have one, it seems pointless to use it while also using facebook.

I have it, but I mainly use it to laugh at stupid crap people tweet. Facebook is of more use though. Basically what Dossar said.

twitter is awesome to people who actively use it

twitter is retarded for people who don't actively use it

it's all about who you're around

if you're a college student with friends that don't use twitter, chances are you won't be using it

if you work full time but majority of your colleagues use twitter, chances are you'll start using it too

as for myself i use it to follow a few people since they don't post fb updates

I would have expected the twitter fad to die forever ago. I don't plan on ever using one. You'd really have to be expecting a lot of people to care about what you do every day to be useful.

I have an account but it doesn't serve much purpose. I have like one close friend following me and my other 9 followers are fellow chiptune bloggers. I mostly just post about chippytunes on there anyways.

It's a good thing to have if you're trying to find more ways to link a community together I suppose.

I do have one. Originally I was against doing so. Since I already had social links that were going without activity. (Like facebook for instance.) But then I started giving it an honest look around and realized there some neat stuff to be had on there if given a chance. So I just decided "Why the hell not?". Pulled up my pants and got one. I frequent it from time to time to check some of my Rooster Teeth and WWE stuff. But nothing too serious. (Not like tumblr anyway. The damn thing consumes your soul.)
