Re: TC_Halogen's Christmas Tournament!
Wow, that's an amazing payout. A lot can be done with that many credits, haha.

If every tournament could pay out as far down as this one was able to, it would be worth fighting for every score the entire time, even if elimination was inevitable.

Re: TC_Halogen's Christmas Tournament!
TIME ZONES GODDAMNIT D:<
seriously though I never expected myself to get to 3rd place, even at top4 I was sure I'd get eliminated. extra time wouldn't have made any difference as I was getting mindblocks everywhere on the last day of the final round song which meant having to hit more boos and risk getting lots of averages. still had to mash the ending thanks for the 150000 credits and a great tournament! now i need to get back to work... but not before playing all of these secret songs edit: if there is an official tournament coming up i'll probably not sign up unless i can get this dumb laptop keyboard fixed and find a lot of spare time as well

Re: TC_Halogen's Christmas Tournament!
You were a situation where you fit well in both divisions, but I decided to go with the upper one simply because of your overall potential and how you tend to do better than others on harder files (see: how well you did in the 6th official). If I put you in D4, you're more than likely a shoe-in to get top 3 right off the bat and that ruins the experience for those who have the chance at actually improving and getting a rightful spot in the finals/semi-finals.
I know you mentioned that you weren't 100%, but I don't account for skilldrops, either. Thank you guys for the kind words about the tournament hosting; the Halloween tournament was run a bit better because I had more time (at the end of the tournament, my second term of school started). Either way, you guys all did great and I was impressed at how much some of you guys improved, as well as how hard some of you fought. |

Re: TC_Halogen's Christmas Tournament!
That's what you get for not playing this game anymore, shoulda listened to me...tisk tisk tisk. I would kill for your skill level! but instead you get that good just to waste it and stop playing....mind boggling right there!

Re: TC_Halogen's Christmas Tournament!
Indeed it isn't. 2nd place in D5 (highest division) back in 2009 was 5-0-0-2 on Rage Template.
Now, highest division... lol. Can't even COMPARE. |

This was part of my demise too (but a pregnant wife), but I still had some time to play. Oh well, I'll shoot for the official.
