Default Iron Man (spoilers welcome), what did you think?

I really enjoyed this movie. RDJ was a very wise choice for the role. I don't know if a lot of you were into Marvel/DC growing up, but I sure as hell was. It's nice to see a superhero movie done right (I hope the upcoming Hulk movie is better than the last one, however. It looks promising).

If you haven't seen Iron Man yet, be sure to stay after the credits for a total geekgasm. I pissed myself silly upon seeing it.

I was pleasantly surprised. Usually I'm pretty hard on any comic based movie, but this one, wow. It kept me interested from the start, it wasn't one of those cheezy rip-offs, and it blew all the Spider-mans and X-men out of the water. Movie was great, and I'm a pretty strict movie critic. Acting was good, the effects were pretty good as well.

Overall, 8.5/10

ahh, crap. i missed the ending credits. what happened.

ps. it was pretty stupid that they only played the song iron man at the end. during the movie, they just played like some dumb-ass three chords.

That movie was freakin' awesome! It had me on the edge of my seat, so to speak. Never guessed the ending after the credits.

I didn't guess it but I did guess the SHIELD part (I figured out the acronym the first time the dude spoke about his division), but didn't understand its significance until the end of the movie

Well, I just watched the Nick Fury clip on YT, and I have to say that I'm looking forward to the sequel.

The actual movie was just spectacular; I love high-tech, and this rendition of Stark didn't disappoint.

Superhero movies in general, though a major bandwagon, are actually pretty good if done right. It'll be interesting 50 years from now when people are like "What was up with all the 'man' movies?"

I was thinking of that as well...Evil Guy was saying Stark had created his best invention or whatever, but then he randomly decided to kill him off without even exploiting Stark's brilliance. Also, Evil Guy mentioned that Stark Industries was supposed to be a weapons company, and Stark's about-face was why he decided to lock out Stark, but Evil Guy and his plot to get Stark kidnapped/killed was the only reason why Stark eventually decided to save the world.

He probably wanted to have Stark killed off out of fear of Stark discovering that he was making deals under the table to those terrorist dudes.

P.S. Good movie. I like the thing that always wanted to spray Stark.

I've never really been one for the Marvel/hero kind of movies, and alot of the ones I've seen were somewhat boring, but Iron Man was simply AMAZING!!!

Actually, I think it was because [spoilerz]Stane was the owner/in charge of the company after Howard Stark's death. When Tony Stark took over, Stane was sort of cast off. That's why he ordered a hit on Tony before Tony even found out about his shady dealings. Dunno, that's just what I thought.[spoilerz]

I swear I was the only person who was excited about the War Machine reference. Maybe that's just my MvC blood boiling.

Movie was awesome. I loved it! We wanted to play some DDR by the arcade so we rushed out of the regal, thus missing the bonus scene.
