I can barely remember my dreams, but if i know i have a dream, It's usually not anything that bad.
I dreamt i beat Fable last night, my imagination was probably making up the crazy ass ending.

RE: Re: RE: Nightmares
The myth is, is if you die if your dream you die in real life. If you've ever had a dream where you're falling you'll notice you always wake up before you hit.

I haven't really had any traumatic experiences with nightmares, but there have been times when I've woken up in the middle of the night with an inexplicable feeling. I really don't know how to decribe it except as a combination of utter hopelessness and longing. Like all the joy and happiness you've ever had was suddenly yanked from you. Most of the time I don't remember what I do in those waking moments but I do remember the feeling. My parents tell me though whenever I wake up like that that I was screaming or crying about something. Really weird shit...
------- Note: I'm pretty sure someone's going to make a stupid crack about drug use or the like but I can assure you in advance that I'm clean

The reasons of my dreams/nightmares are probably caused by the mass taking of drugs.

For the past 6 months in every dream I can remember there is this screaming girl. Every now and then I'll stop and wonder "Why is that girl screaming?" and look for her, but then I just get back to what I was doing in the dream. One night she wasn't screaming, she was making short shreiks and I was trying to find her or something. Can't remember it too well.
But yeah, the screaming girl is a little creepy. |

About the dying in your dreams: it's completely possible. You can dream that you die and nothing bad will happen. My sister (and my mom, I believe) both say they've died in their dreams. Seen their body and everything.
The reason you wake up when you trip in a dream is because that's your body's way of alerting you awake. It gives you a shock in the dream world to wake you up sometimes. But yeah, you can die in your dreams. People are just stupid and paranoid too much so they wake themselves up because they don't know it's a dream. I could die in my dreams, because I know they're dreams 99.999% of the time.

I don't have a problem with nightmares. Things in my dream never really scare me.
About the death in dreams thing: I too have died in dreams. It's no big deal. Some people can do it, some people can't.

Once when I was in that state of when you are about to fall asleep
but you are still barely awake, I trip in like a little ditch, and when I hit the ground in the little half-sleep, it feels as if my whole body fell asleep and it is all tingling

Warning: Do not read this if you do not want to have a similar nightmare.
The following is a dream that I had about a week ago. Alright, so there was this guy in a bathroom. All of a sudden, this crazy masked guy grabs him, and forces his head into a crap and vomit-filled toilet. After that, he proceeds to make very tiny incisions all over his body, and breaks his arms and legs so he cannot escape. The killer chains him to the toilet and keeps him there for weeks, feeding him his own excrement and gradually cutting more and more of his body parts off. The killer then eats the body parts. Eventually the guy dies, and the killer eats his eyes and shits in the eyesockets. After that, the scene shifted to me playing tag in ancient ruins, while running from the same psycho killer guy. I woke up in a bit. It wasn't really scary, or even all that disturbing, since I have dreams like this very often. I have about 5-6 dreams a night, and I can usually remember all of them perfectly. Mixed in with the other crap is stuff like this. I find it amusing nowadays, since I know it's not really happening. |

I hate the dream that when you are falling and then when you wake up you feel like you hit your bed when falling.

You mean you hit whatever you fell on lol, cause falling on the bed would be a relief XD
I constantly wake up in the middle of the night finding myself saying to myself "What the hell is wrong?" cause of those types of dreams.. |

Moogy, you're a sick bastard to think that up. Then again, I didn't find it that gross reading it, so I dunno, may be I'm a sick bastard too! O=
Oh, and the jerking awake can suck if you have a bunk bed and sleep on the bottom. You dream you're falling and jerk straight up and bash your head. Not fun, I would think.
