Please read this in advance. Also, Binary and video game programming are two completely unrelated topics. Binary is machine language. Nobody programs anything in binary. Binary solely exists as a digital representation of an analogue signal. Video game developers program with devkits. They purchase a console from the manufacturer (Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft) that is tweaked for developer's needs and doesn't just play games. They are thousands of dollars more than the console itself, but they help in the process of making games as they sometimes write the code for you based on what you want it to do. Much of the process is still hand-coded, however. Ouch. Ninja'd by Devo. |

Can't be that super expensive. We have a game design masters at my university, and each person has their own developer PS2 to use. Mind you, tuition is like 22 grand a year, but still.
