Re: FFR Forum Awards 2011 - Voting
While I like that you don't see who everyone is voting for I also hate it lol. Seeing other people's used to remind me of people I forget about sometimes. There are some things I just have no idea what to put for right now.

Re: FFR Forum Awards 2011 - Voting
Cleaning up posts that should obviously be deleted is one thing. Being able to politely yet firmly steer a discussion in a productive and positive direction - the original intent of the word "moderate" when used as a verb - is something I see far less. That's what I meant when I said moderate a discussion as it's happening- deleting everything is not moderating, it's garbage disposal.

Re: FFR Forum Awards 2011 - Voting
Some fgt on another forum did a piss poor job of "moderating". He would constantly edit people's posts, flame, and troll people, and then due to the flaming and trolling he would lock the thread, or even delete it. I see none of that going on here, obviously, but I just want to give you an idea of what a HORRIBLE mod looks like.

There's a difference between a lazy, bad, and good mod. IJS.

Re: FFR Forum Awards 2011 - Voting
What I was getting at with the deleted post thing was that we catch things before it has time to derail the thread usually.
Regardless, this is the forum awards thread so carry on with that. We can all have our own opinions on the matter and there's nothing wrong with it. |

Same, there are a lot of people that could go up for a few of these things and it's hard to choose. I feel bad if I leave someone out lol.

You and Haku are battling it out for gamewhore. His combined GT is huge but yours is in such a small amount of time.

you da boss ;D
Last year I tied hammy for friendliest poster, also scored best mod, I know who I have my money on for those two this year. Most certainly not myself, unless my prochat peeps come to the forums and locate this thread. . . Will finally be able to change my custom title ;D

"Next Ban - you"
Hahahaha xD EDIT: I see a lot of other silly votes, too - not that it matters too much since the tallying will be manual, heh.
