Re: MOVEZ (SUBMISSIONS OPEN TILL OCT. 3RD)
hey post a few reviews and if i notice anything glaringly wrong with it i'll hit you up. no worries. i'm a very technical judge so we could stand to have someone reviewing files who cares more about how things play than, yknow, paragraphs on paragraphs of ddream timecodes pointing out one singular missing jump lmfao

Yeah I mean, that's the way I judge anyway. I'm not giving up judging, not in the slightest. I wanna help push this pack in the direction you want. So that's cool we're on the same page.

Question: Is there a official dude that makes graphics for files or should I go beg Silvuh to not make my work look like a child's again? lol

assuming I don't get caught up with work and stuff later on, I can be a graphics slave closer to the pack's completion (^:

Re: MOVEZ (SUBMISSIONS OPEN TILL OCT. 3RD)
Alright, so I have judged just a few, trying to get back into the swing of things so bear with me haha. Also, spoiler'd the tech stuff. Will continue to judge other stuff as the week goes by.
China Dress - GD Hard: Accept Fun file, it flowed perfectly fine. Although there are a few missing notes that I would like to check over in terms of consistency with the layering. Do You Know Squarepusher - Valor Challenge: Accept I -love- the file. I do. There are just a few layering scheme that kind of tick me off a bit, but there are my own personal nitpicking. Anyhow, still love your files Valor and glad to see you still doing great files <3 +- - rparty (fixed version) Challenge: Maybe The Quads are still questionable in my opinion as I don't see where those quads go to, I just want to have the quads cleared up to me especially due to the lack of hands in the file. I also still stand by the face that you should have more liberties of using Hands to distinguish the sounds that you are trying to accentuate. 45 Rotations - Antronanch Heavy: ??? I don't know how to feel about this file. I'll give it a few more playthroughs before I decide on this. The song choice is kinda meh though. Alright - Detrimentalist Heavy: Accept Nice typo on the banner :v Anyhow, fun easy MA file to play on. Although I might be nitpicky on the jack usage since they were sparsely used, and I think its because you were layering the vocals instead? Just need that cleared up, also there were some missing jumps that I noticed. I'll pull up the notes tomorrow when I'm not working. Arcade - Antronanch Heavy: Rejected The layering felt wonky and inconsistent to be honest. Blaming the song choice for this one. Atropos - rparty89 Heavy: Accept I remember that you sent this for Keyboardsmash and judging it. I assume the Medium chart was never suppose to be there? Anyhow, there could be some additional jump usages here and there that I will point out in the notes tomorrow but for now, I feel this is better than what you have sent for Keyboardsmash. Black Lair - rparty89 Challenge: Accept I'm leaning this lightly towards Accept because I actually like seeing two different approaches to this song (the one in FFRCP4 and yours) and I think yours is different enough to be placed in for the pack. There are some things I will point out for tomorrow. Shenjoku files - ??? Need higher quality audio files :/ Too low of a quality for me to really critique it properly. Also, Squadalah, we're off! Extends Levant - Jombo Challenge: Reject I remember playing this a few days back, but I honestly want to see this being cut since it doesn't offer much to be honest, which kinda dampened me a bit when I was expecting it to be like the child of Apocynthion Dive lmao. But yeah, this would need a cut before this gets in to be honest. File drags on way too much and I almost fell asleep towards the end x: At The Speed Of Light - boomerangbro10 Challenge: Reject Sync is off by a 48th. Layering felt arbitrary in terms of jumps and hands usage. You do have the basic know-how on how the file should be crafted but personally the song choice didn't lend to much variety. The Creator - Wh1teh Challenge: Accept Compared to Xel's chart for it in ODI3, this one is better in my opinion. The only complaint that I can tell right off the bat is that the burst at the intro is pr'd wrong. The rest I would have to look at it in more detail. ETERNAL DRAIN - Wh1teh Challenge: Accept Lmao. This is actually a fun file, although I will disagree with Kommi on that the 32nds for the echoes is a neat addition. I would say to make an easier chart for this song. Glorious Crown - Wh1teh Challenge: Reject Why does this sound like Blue Zenith mashed with Freedom Di-oh wait...it's a Xi song. Song choice aside, I have no qualms over it, I just think this is more suited for something like an Icyworld pack to be honest. Nothing too erroneous, just how that file itself is layered. How Things Went Wrong - Xel Challenge: Accept While I do agree with you that the file itself is just difficult itself. I do agree that there are a few questionable jumps, I think you could have done away with more mine usage in the hold section to be honest. I Hope That You Leave Enough Room For My Fist - Shenjoku Challenge: Accept Much better audio quality. Glad that the fixes Rog suggested actually made the file flow better as a result. Kinda feels like an easier, non-cluttered Metzger file to be honest haha. Will provide the deets once I give it a better look at the chart. Devil's Gear - bmah Challenge: Accept Nice Mines :B Nothing I can complain from in this file aside from me being bad at this file haha. 5/7 Bmahs, will gloss through the file in more detail to see if there's anything that needs a slight tweak~ Drop the Dodongo - Shenjoku Hard: Rejected The song choice is hilarious lmao. Although, the sync is off by a 64th and the song isn't suited for this pack to be honest. I can give you some notes on it to fix it up. The Immortal Scream - Wh1teh Challenge: Maybe idk. The file is fun don't get me wrong, but I think that its better suited that this song gets a cut, it feels so long at times that I lose my focus on the file when I play it (Same issue that I have with Jombo's file, although this song isn't as long as his file). Gonna gloss over the file for tech stuff. Operation Evolution - boomerangbro10 Challenge: Rejected Sync is off by a 48th. Offset is 0.030. All I can say is that look for different songs for this pack. Serponge - boomerangbro10 Medium: Rejected Offset should be 3.721 This does honestly feel like a tiny OST being compiled in one track to be honest and I think has the most potential out of the files you have sent to this pack. I would say not to be afraid to experiment with holds and mines, along with some color theory on this file since there is plenty of potential to play around with these things. Keep trying! Shinsekai (the completely different one) - Moomoo Hard: Accept Yes. Just yes. There are a few technical nitpicks that I have but I am delighted by this file <3 Prepare to be Conquered - Shenjoku Challenge: Accept The audio quality improvement definitely helped solidify what I was thinking of putting in for this. The solo could use a bit of a check but doesn't need to be dicksynced for colors and whatnot lmao. Just check a bit on the pr (I will point out in my notes where in the solo) But otherwise, good job~ Press Start - DarkZtar Hard: Accept Sync is a bit off. Offset is 0.996. Fun file, although the intro guitar strum is off as fuck. That is my huge gripe with the chart. Aside from that, A+ chart. Will give the deets later when I am not cluttered with DnD and Pokemon Go lmao. Pizza Heroes - Pazzaz Challenge: Accept I found my road trip song. Damn you for making this addicting and actually fun to play on 1.2. The file flows well, nothing too erroneous and I think its wise that you didn't put the 16ths with the jumps when using the long freezes. Thor's Hammer - rparty & Antronanch Sync is off by 0.020 seconds (between a 48th & 64th) Challenge: Rejected Remove that 64th vibrowall lmao. We ain't Attang :v Although the file is cool but I am not accepting that vibrowall Hard: Maybe Okay, this chart is cool, might wanna look over some of the polys you have in the second half. Oeusophage De Tourterelle - Leo137 Challenge: Accept I cried on the inside. I actually love this file even though I suck so much at these files haha. I will comb through this file for minor nitpicks. Tenku no Hana - rparty Hard: Accept Cool file. Verse IV - Leonid Challenge: Accept Medium: Accept Both charts kick ass, nothing too erroneous and the contrast of difficulty between the two are good and doesn't make the easier chart look like a watered down version of Challenge. +- - rparty (again) Challenge: Accept I'll take it. I still don't agree with the quads and the long freezes though. Those two personally breaks the flow of the file, but other than that, nothing too erroneous. IPLAYTABLETENNIS - Choof Hard: Accept Challenge: Accept Those mines in hard lmao. Challenge reminds me of that atomhead file you have in Stepocalypse. Ghost House - boomerangbro10 Hard: Rejected I don't know...song choice feels eh. Could use to look for other places for songs aside from Newgrounds to be honest. File feels bland to be honest, the rolls did add a nice touch but it didn't capture the essence of the file Serponge (fixed version) - boomerangbro10 Medium: Maybe Much better! There is a slight shift in sync at the end but that can be easily remedied on. Make 127.955 at 157.182 BPM and 134.337 at 113.261 BPM. But other than that, this is a much better chart. Missing some 32nds that can be flourished (like one at 8.048) Anyhow, keep at it!

Re: MOVEZ (SUBMISSIONS OPEN TILL OCT. 3RD)
45 rotations
There's nothing inherently wrong with the chart, but man what a shitty song. Chart doesn't get very interesting and it's solely the song choice's fault. alright excellent Arcade feels really underlayered and boring. not a whole lot going on and the bpm is off and drifts throughout the file. at the speed of light 4 minutes of inconsistently layered dumpstream. nah dude. atr file isn't bad. my only major issues with it are the hold usage during streams and the odd layering choice at the beginning. but since this doesn't really deliver anything over caliber's chart, I can't accept it. black lair same thing as atropos. iranch's version is much better executed. China dress it's one of those files Crooked Spoons some rhythms get a little tedious and repetitive after a while. I could see this getting in if you find better audio quality cuz this is pretty arse. devil's gear 666 do you know squarepusher rly good Extends Levant awkwardly layered and inconsistent, also way too long of a song for a file since it doesn't really offer anything to keep the player engaged that long.
