Please don't post images of the dash. I asked for it to be taken down for now until placements are finished.

No, I was talking about getting the token. I'm not sure of the process for putting someone into a certain division. Is it by their average rank, their number of AAA's, fc's; I really don't know. In this case I was thinking that if someone got a token that not a lot of people had gotten because it was very difficult then they might be placed into a higher division based on that. Just goes to show how much I know about this stuff. Well, you gotta ask to know, right?

Not participating in the tourney but I'm looking forward to seeing the new song releases (mine might show up during the tourney :3) and how the competition goes down.

You have sdgs on some FMO's that right there pushes you up, especially in a raw scoring tournament.

Division placements are based on one's skill to properly play the game (so acquiring anti-PA tokens or tokens that make you play the game in such a way where a AAA would not be optimal would not be used). The number of AAA's and FC's can somewhat indicate a player's skill but can't be trusted because (1) good players could just be lazy and choose not to fc/aaa easy songs and (2) not-so-skilled players could be very determined and attempt to AAA and FC every song possible, making them appear better than they really are. So when placing people, it usually boils down to looking at scores on individual songs, but seeing it from a big picture. Usually, the general question is asked, "at what range of file difficulty does the participant start doing 'poorly' on?" Often times, statistics such as a user's highest difficulty AAA and SDG are good starters, but a tourney placer must be careful to not let only one or two scores influence someone's placement. I'm no expert myself at placements, but I hope my insight will help you with your understanding of how placements work on FFR

Cool. If I'm D3 or under then I think I'll do pretty well. If I'm above D3 then I'll be flattered. Can't wait to participate in my first of, hopefully, many tournaments.

You sound like an expert lol. And yes, your explanation was very helpful. Thank you.
