I think wishing for good teammates is a very innocuous thing to do. Of course I get hooked up with bad players. Of course I can still win regardless. I have a 2/1 win-loss ratio. Removing the variation of play-styles would only accomplish making the game sterile and less fun. This is exactly what you want I'm sure, so you can feed the incessant need for feeling better than other people at a video game.

I'm starting to just hate LoL more and more. My performance means nothing anymore. My ranked k/d is perfectly solid and I can fill any role well except tank yet I'm permanently stuck in elo hell because of leavers and bad kids. >_> guess I have to wait for season 3.

the idea behind force of nature is you get to stay in fights forever. the regen combined with the movespeed gives tanky champions extremely good sustainability

back in the days of my pre-level 30, I built sunfire, then fon on amumu, and I basically could 1v3 their team because I never ever died. always quite funny

mid and top solo can generally carry a game if they both farm well and not die

Well, do be fair, KDA is almost definitely mildly correlated with win percentages by ELO, since it's an alright representation of gold exchange between teams. I could run an SPSS analysis on lolstats to see, but it's probably not necessary. I would almost guarantee it.

And your current ELO can certainly be lower than your true ELO. I guess you could call this ELO hell if you want.

Of course, people that are perpetually stuck in this ELO forever even after 100 games...might belong there >_>

Though, it's important to consider that it's much easier to win right now @ lower level games just running someone that carries really really hard, like Tryndamere. When I started playing champions that can pubstomp at lower levels I started winning a LOT more. This applies to dominion and TT too.

Just don't rely on your teammates. Play greedy and make sure you ward. Go with kill maximizing builds that can snowball really hard.

step 1. find a duo q partner
step 2. familiarize yourself with characters that snowball easily
step 3. play super aggressive in a solo lane every game because at low elo the percentage of games where you will be punished for doing so is like under 20%.
step 4. get 2 high elo

congrats now you are high elo and you still know **** all about how to actually play the game

step 3. plan to play super aggressive in a solo lane every game but end up fighting with everyone else on the team cuz they all have the same idea (including your own partner)

and it's not really elo hell, because he can still climb out of there, it just takes a little bit longer. he's complaining about how long it takes to get back up, not having difficulty getting up at all, and in my opinion that should be the definition of elo hell

kda does have a correlation, but I've seen soooo many people who stomp so hard in a game and go like 20/2 but then don't know how to pressure an advantage and end up losing. my point is that kda means nothing if you can't use that advantage

as for being greedy, you shouldn't totally ignore your teammates. you shouldn't completely rely on them, this much is true, but there is a certain level of trust you do need to have for them. how must trust though, really depends case by case, and part of being a good player in solo queue is figuring out how much trust you should put on your team
