Fix the FFR Radio?

Hey there,

Back a year or so, this radio actually worked properly. Now, it doesn't. I'd like to know if there was any possibility of the Radio being fixed at some point in the future, because although I can still go on and hear the music, a lot of stuff is broken and doesn't work. Believe it or not, people actually do broadcast on the radio (like _.Spitfire._

) and people actually do listen to the radio here.

Much appreciated if it actually did get fixed at some point in the future.

But yeah if we can get a fix for the radio we can see how many people are listening :O

It still works, but it works rather poorly and is a bitch to actually get working semi-normally.

Good to know that people also care about the FFR Radio as much as I do right now. It'd be nice if I didn't have to keep playing around with the context menu and clicking Play/Rewind/Forward in some sequence just to get it to play music.

That, and the song display is broken... Well, there's a lot of things broken or messed up with that radio. Just hope that it gets fixed by someone, some time soon. :P

But I'm the only one with good J-Core >

And I really like this idea. Would be cool as well if we can see who is broadcasting, and what is being broadcasted. Better integration for the browsers as well, cause for quite a few people the radio built in the chat will crash them.

And this might be a bit too much, but perhaps a vote and kick system to kick people who are broadcasting crap instead of waiting hours for them to quit.

i like the kick idea. that way when spitfire broadcasts j-core i can kick him

Not just one user kicking another obviously...

Like, it will initialize a voting box for a period of time, and if the majority votes to kick the user, then he gets kicked.
Sorry if that wasn't clear enough yet to you ^_-

And not just 51% no > 49% yes = kick, but more like:
70% no > 30% yes = kick, to keep it more fair for the people that do enjoy it.

You won't believe some people hogging the radio station for hours and hours and people asking them to stop broadcasting, but they just won't.

Or another idea is to allow users to pick which station they can listen to on the chat. (Which is otherwise only available if you go to the radio page.)

I really need to log on more. I'm all for opening up the Radio again, I loved the thing and the wide tastes in music. I'd love to broadcast. I've got a variety of stuff from lovers of Industrial trance to Hardstyle and even just Psytrance. ^_^ Go go FFR Radio!
