Why do people play on Reverse??

I've been playing DDR for about 9 years now, and I can play on reverse fine...but why do people start out playing reverse?
It just seems confusing.

There are a bunch of games whose default is to scroll down rather than up.

Up doesn't make sense for FFR's case, IMO.

I'm so bad at up, whenever I played MP with bmah, I force my monitor view to go upside-down.

It was going at 2.0x, to be honest. On top of that, I'm not use to my keyboard being stuck to the desktop while playing sideways.

Who cares which way you play, just play the way you feel comfortable. I don't see why people have to argue about it. Why does it matter?
