Being able to save practice files
It would be nice if we could press a button like "R" during a song and it would start recording that part (as well as the steps) until we press "R" again.
The file would be saved somewhere like in a new song selection category named "Practice" and we could do that part of the song over and over. If it takes too much bandwith, we could limit it to 3-5 practice files per players. This would seriously help people get through tough parts.

Re: Being able to save practice files
the way the FFR engine is currently set up it would probably take a lot of work, but it's still a good idea

It's exactly as you mentioned: server load. Definitely something to think about, though - it is a good idea.

Re: Being able to save practice files
Instead of being another selection in the FFR engine itself, maybe it could save the files like we save our replays, but make them playable instead?
I'm just putting ideas out there because I know practicing sweeps and things like that really better someone's gameplay.
