Basically, you guys are suffering from a hacked room.

There's a jump hack in the room that causes the game to think you are doing it and disconnects you. You have to get your inventory tab open and click a town scroll as fast as you can.

Alternatively, try removing your network cable as soon as you see your character, then walk over to the portal and leave.

Argh.

I waited a while, then tried and it gave me like ten seconds of time to make a break for it. I got disconnected right as I left again, but this time when I logged back in I was outside. Phew.

Was gonna say that but more in depth.

As soon as you log into the server, and the screen goes black disconnect your internet cable and walk over to the portal. Press up and connect the cable. You will be disconnected again, but when you log back in you are outside of the sauna. =)

It's BAD to log off while on a boat ride. Or go into the cash shop. Or change channels. It puts you back to where you were before, without an refund. That's just how life works. And for your voyage going on for half-an-hour, that's prolly just you. Often times, after 5 minutes, people think an hour has gone by. Werd. Or it may be your connection.

I just minimize the screen. Of course, then I turn back and find I've been raped by a giant flying monkey/balrog. =(

23, almost 24. Doing lots of jMS-exclusive quests is fun and rewarding.

There's a quest where you kill 99 Green Shrooms. 3,000 EXP and 50 white potions. There's a followup for 999 Green Shrooms. Obviously I haven't killed a thousand yet, but I'm getting there. There is a second one for 99 / 999 Horned Shrooms and a third for 99 / 999 Zombie Shrooms. All have awesome exp and potion rewards.

Not to mention the fact that Arwen has a quest at level 15 to kill 100 green shrooms. And so I killed 99 and finished one quest, then one more and finished another. While doing that, I got all the mushy tops for a bunch of other quests.

Basically, my life on jMS so far has been "get quest items". I rarely "Train". Which is kinda why it's going so slowly when you couple that with my disliking of using potions.

Sorry I haven't been able to play at all. Still 16 on jms and still 72 on ranger. I just had a 24 page term paper to do and I managed to finish it in ONLY 7 hours.... So yeah, two finals tomorrow and then I can pretty much do whatever over the weekend because I only have 2 finals next week on tuesday and thursday. Oh and stop leveling so fast squeek =)

Chris: I didn't say HA should be base attack 120 like FA. I said that it's base is 80, which when it gets the 1.5x elemental advantage is 120. Disregarding amp, you and I could do the same dmg to a DSG if you had maxed holy arrow.

And uh, I made a new character on MS. ebFFR (same name as before just different order XD), a pure int cleric. I made it before I realized Tosh already was making one. I guess 2 clerics can't hurt? But yeah, I might use it to fund the warrior so it can stay lowish dex. =)

You can't change channels, enter cash shop, or use town scrolls while on the boats/trains.

I'm going very slowly so you all can catch up.

Spending no money at all on potions to save up for a Meba and 7 100%s. Can't spend a dime on potions. Have to wait for MP to regen or use potions from quests. Sucks that all the quests reward health potions it seems. I have like 151 white potions. No point in using them with 300 red potions and several hundred orange potions to go. Which I never use.

I have problems.
