Michael Crichton's "Airframe"
Finished it in one long sitting yesterday, but that was a pretty fantastic book. I aways liked Crichton's books, thanks to him I learned a thing or two about Space-Time in his book "Sphere."
Airframe was definitely something special, and it occured to me as I read it just how incredibly little I knew about stuff, and that the media sux0rz. I'd reccomend the book just for the characters. Kenny Burnes is awesome. |

RE: Michael Crichton
I read that a while ago. It was pretty good, but my favorite of his books is Timeline, but you can't just go watch the movie because the movie sucked and they left out like the whole book.

I remember that book. T'was good, I guess. And yes, Kenny Burnes kicked ass.
My favorite book by Crichton is probably 'The Andromeda Strain'. It's about this killer virus that spreads through your body and instantly and completely coagulates your blood into a solid mass. Some survive- until they commit bizarre and mysterious suicides. It's a good read. Edit: Forgot about 'Prey'. That book kicks an ass or two as well. |
