anti trojan software?
So, I have trojan viruses, and my anti-virus does not really remove them.
Are there any trustworthy trojan removers? |

Re: anti trojan software?
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Spybot - Search and Destroy are very effective when used in conjunction
HijackThis is excellent for detecting/reporting offending viruses if the problem persists CCleaner is useful for improving computer performance |

Re: anti trojan software?
At the moment, norton internet secruity is pretty good (if you want to get one that you have to pay for)
However there is Smitfraud fix, that is designed for trojan/malware. However don't be fooled by Smitfraud, that is a virus in the disguise of an antivirus. Edit: Smitfraudfix is designed for coverup trojans e.g. "b.exe" "Total Secure 2009".....

.. No. Post whore. AVG is definitely not the best, or recommended... At least in my opinion. That's just because it's slow, and there are other programs with better databases that do the job quicker and more efficiently. |

No, there's nothing out there that can remove viruses, trojans and all that jazz...for free of course.

Re: anti trojan software?
No, Norton sucks. I've had different ones that I've bought for a couple years now, and they're all garbage. Slow, unorganized, they don't allow you to end the processes in your task manager, they open up a billion processes at once to update and it lags your computer, and most importantly, it doesn't even work. AVG Free Edition found viruses on my computer and Norton found nothing.

Using Avast! makes me feel like a pirate. That alone is worth it.

Norton found viruses and removed every single one of them. My computer is now clean, thanks to the virus scan that everyone complains about. |

Re: anti trojan software?
I have never looked at porn in my life, and I don't plan to.
Also, I got the trojan from an infected torrent. Downloading music is bad.... |
