Default Arrows delayed/offset from audio

Hey, first post so sorry if this isn't the place for this. Basically whenever I start a song the audio plays as it should, but the arrows are a few seconds behind the audio which makes it pretty hard to play. Has anyone had similar problems/found a fix? I never had this problem on the browser version, and I have tried both downloads and adjusting settings. Thanks for any help.

You want to adjust the global offset for that song in the options.

Play the song doing your best to hit the arrows to the -music- regardless of where they are on screen, for at least a few seconds, and then on the song results screen, mouse over the "t" button on the center left to see your timing.

It will show
Accuracy/Frames (Judge Offset)
[some number][another number]

What you want to do is look at that first number and change the "global offset" in the options by the -INVERSE- of that number.

So if it shows you something like
-0.7

You'd increase your offset by +0.7

If it showed
+2.40

You'd decrease your offset by -2.40

That will help sync the arrows to the music on the songs they're not synced. MOST songs are synced so once you settle into a global offset that works for your computer, you should be fine for most songs, but you will need to do it song by song for some that are super out of sync (Like CIA Rave V2 which is like 2 or 3 full frames out)

On 0.0 Global Offset, hitting to the music

On 2.7 Global Offset, nearly 3 frames away

Thank you, i realized my global offset was set to 20 from when I had the opposite problem a few years back. I assumed it was 20 ms and paid it no mind lol. Completely fixed my problem.
