wafles stop putting text in your bgs so high, it shouldn't reach more than 3/5 of the entire graphic in order to not be covered by the arrows. also, don't put it beyond 4/5 horizontally because some themes have life bar on the side and that will cover your text.

The font for klassiker einheit is p bad imo but other than that clean gfx, try something else~

I've never played on anything other than SM5 w/ bg off so I'm just making graphics for what I'm used to. Anyway here's some adjusted banners.




not gonna touch Klassiker Einheit because I used the same photoshop file for Pacific Girls and can't go back far enough in the history to get back to where I was for that one haha

nvm I caved and redid the bg's that were a bit high for the ones I still had open

gfx are hard, not used to catering graphics for people who play differently than I do I guess

all this commentary about placing text too close to an edge was already covered in a section of my post back on page 3 but I guess everyone just scrolled right past it gg

I guess from my opinion, it's completely illegible and unreadable. typefaces with flourishes can be nice touches when used in moderation, however they should not interfere with the readability and legibility, otherwise it completely defeats the entire purpose of placing type there in the first place, lol. the fact that it's also all uppercase makes it a nightmare to distinguish letter forms, making it impossible to read from a distance.

Yea I completely agree with Klassiker Einheit font being shit

I'll redo that set today and find something better, or tone down the flourishes or something like that idk.

EDIT: Might try and rework this later, I like this picture, but the text doesn't feel right. Might be wrong though.
EDIT 2: Tried a new font and changed a few other things, I think it's a little better than the other one.

hey GD -- is the Beyond Abilities text in my graphics too close to the edge? I know they're quite a bit closer than The Formula.

it's too close, yeah. worst case, it'd just about cut the B in half making it seem like the title is 3eyond Abilities instead during gameplay, rofl.

again, I mentioned that the gameplay background thing honestly isn't a big deal when the majority of people here play with 0% background brightness and everyone will be too focused on reading notes than pay attention to it, lol. if you're OCD about stuff like this, then you should probably shift it over.

now how many people knew about that hehu

i tried making graphics for neopolitan dreams a while ago but im bad at making graphics and gave up sorry
very much looking forward to playing that file though, and the rest of the pack of course

Yea lol, Quadraphinix was one of the few BG's I dumped out in 30 seconds and didn't even care how it looked xD
But I'm pretty amazed by your graphic skills, at least I don't have to make all the graphics with paint.net anymore
