Some bands after the NWOBHM have started caring even more about their music itself and added complexity and different influences to their songs in order to create a sound that was far more superior in terms of overall complexity.

I'm into In Flames, Killswitch, Disarmonia Mundi, Avenged Sevenfold, AILD, Nightrage, some Slipknot, Aiden, Behemoth, Diecast, Children of Bodom, Devildriver, Lamb of God, System of a Down, Still Remains, Atreyu, etc.

Oh and also "The Essential Ozzy Osbourne" wich is 29 of his greatest hits.

I guess my comments were vague. I didn't include every NWOBHM band, evidence that I like bands such as Necrophagist, Kataklysm, Cryptopsy, or Arch Enemy.
