Default SAT

Yep, it was today. I think I raped it, but you never know. Did anyone else take it (normal or subject)? Right now I want to kill Willa Cather for existing (that section was a bitch).

I took Math I and Math II subject tests today. I thought I remembered reading somewhere that wasn't allowed, but the proctor said it was and there was nothing on the test booklet anywhere, so I went ahead and did it.

Math I was really easy, Math II actually kind of hard since my school doesn't have anything resembling an Algebra II class. We have an "Integrated Math" curriculum that is basically like this: Alg. I with Stats-->Geometry-->Trig (but it's called precalc), then you can do Honors or AP Calc, or Stat if you suck at math.

So yeah...questions about vectors and matrices went waaay above my head.

I took both of those in January...I signed up for both randomly, but wasn't allowed to back out when I wanted to. Amazingly enough, I got 780 on Math I and 800 on Math II (I guess not so amazing, though, if you take into account the difference in curves).

My knowledge of matrices at that time = anything learned in Algebra 2. So you were definitely screwed on that. Vectors: I had just finished Calc II before taking it, in which we did vectors, so I was good for that.

SAT=most pointless test ever. None of the questions were even remotely challenging, and after you take them and get accepted into college you never hear about them again. Seems like it's just a bragging point to me. "HAY I GOTZ A 24OO ON MA TEZT IM AUSUM!"
