NCAA Tournament Contest II - Brackets MUST be filled out by Thurs @ 12:20pm EST!!!
So, we had 10 or 12 people enter last year. I won. This year, how many will enter? Will anyone defeat me?
Link: http://games.espn.go.com/tcmen/frontpage The group I made is: FlashFlashRevolution (no spaces) The password is: Synthlight You can register now, but you can't fill out your bracket until Sunday the 12th. Entries are due in by the tip-off of the 1st game on Thursday the 16th at noon EST. MAKE SURE THAT YOUR TEAM'S ENTRY NAME LETS US KNOW WHO YOU ARE. Like mine is Tass #1 (I have Tass #2 - Tass #5 also, so you aren't thinking that I'm furthering my ego even more, although those 4 others are not in the FFR Group. Yet.) This will also be the OFFICIAL thread for all things Tournament related. Conference or NCAA.

DJ... change your team name to match your username.
Sertman, you too. From the site you can have up to 5. I'm not sure yet how I'm going to handle it for us. Whether we can have 1, 2, or 5. For now, limit yourself to 1.

Re: NCAA Tournament Contest II
I love to fill out brackets as much as the next guy, but I don't consider myself quite good enough to join one of these teams. Is this a straight up number of correct picks, or is there a point system involved?

Re: NCAA Tournament Contest II
As was the case last year, I will be paying attention to the NCAA tournie this year until my Huskies are knocked out of it.
They have the potential to get pretty deep, but then again they also have the potential to blow the first match.

Re: NCAA Tournament Contest II
UConn Huskies? or Washington? Cause UConn has a damn good shot to win the whole thing.
Naota... While OhioU should win that match, I doubt they'll be able to get out of the MAC. Kent St has been playing great much of the season. IGot... it is based on a point system. 10 for 1st round winners, 20 for sweet 16, 40 for elite 8, 80 for final 4, 120 for finals, 160 for winner.... and, skill level doesn't matter. The more entrants the better.

Re: NCAA Tournament Contest II
Washington, seeing as that is the school I am going to and all.
I had high hopes for them last year, but unless something magical happens in the Pac-10 tournie (like them winning each game by 30 points or more) I'm unlikely to have too much hope for greatness this year.

Re: NCAA Tournament Contest II
They are pretty much a lock to get into the tourney... and from what I can tell, they are looking at around a 5 seed. 4-6, depending on how they do in the tourney. The Pac-10 is pretty weak.
I wouldn't expect them to go very far in the big dance though. Roy can only take them so far.

Re: NCAA Tournament Contest II
Haha. Albany SHOULD win the... American East? Conference. #1 seed.
OSU... No way. Big Ten teams can only win on their home courts. As soon as they play a tough team without their home crowd, they crawl into the fetal position. Which is why a 4-loss in-conference team won the league out right. Pathetic that they are the #1 ranked conference based on RPI. How the Big East fell to 4th is beyond me (South Florida is single-handedly killing the RPI, at #227)... UConn and Nova are #1/2 in both polls and #2/3 in RPI, with Nova within .01 of Duke for #1.
