Re: SMGpack 2 Released
I thought the pack was good. The song choices were pretty ok, but there could have been some better songs out there.

Re: SMGpack 2 Released
I think you guys are so pretentious that you don't accept that some files in this pack sucks
It's not the fault of players, this is just that you don't accept criticism So Necros thanks to give me SMG2 files before the pack was released

Re: SMGpack 2 Released
Well, I am glad that my 2 files didn't get accepted into the pack because they wouldn't have fitted with the rest of the files.

Re: SMGpack 2 Released
Hm. My favourite in there is Holy Orders or Gamelean de couple (or however it's spelled). Most of the songs were stupid such as Almsty's opening theme.

Re: SMGpack 2 Released
KBC3's was a huge drama, not even compared to the n00bs complaing about SMGpack2 nowadays.
Also, this pack is a spread pack, if you don't like hands get better, if you don't like holds get better, if you like stream go play quasar, not really that hard. This pack is an OPTION for adept players to expand in difficulty. If you want to bitch about hands and holds, be my guest, but you can't say ANY of these files are not well made, simply because we know more than you. and lol mwerp. |

Re: SMGpack 2 Released
Thats the thing Ossa, they're too well made.
What is the point of playing something to get so incredibly good at when in the end, the only reason we really started playing it was to have fun? I can't find myself constantly playing something over and over again only to get frustrated because I can't AAA or FC something. I'm not bitching about the pack itself. It is very well made and put together, but to me a lot of these songs lack replay value because they just have TOO much. Also, the no hands mod takes away from the game, but thats besides the point.

Re: SMGpack 2 Released
I've only caught a few minor errors in files so far, but you only catch them if you're paying REALLY close attention. Overall, its a REALLY good pack. The only thing it suffers from is a broad type of files--it is pretty much all spread "beatmania-styled" sims. It probably could have stood a few more songs like Rose (just a different type of song), but that doesn't make the files that are there any worse.
Also, Rose officially has the BEST straight 16th run of any sim ever. I didn't know a 16th stream could be that fun. Cave Story is probably the second best 8-bit type song I've ever played as well. Actually, its tied with Overall for first. |

Re: SMGpack 2 Released
I personally can't stand constantly FCing or AAAing songs. Getting to the point where I can just hit every arrow perfectly without even trying just makes me lose interest.
ps I get AAAs about 1% of the time. I even checked it. |

Re: SMGpack 2 Released
everything in stepmania to me depends on the white flashes one gets from having 100+ combo so im pretty careful to design sims that I can fc

Re: SMGpack 2 Released
.....this is definitely not for index.. *tired as hell* although rose keeps an indexable rate going for a while. i played around 25 songs and passed 15.
1) Fire Wire 2) Flyaway 3) HANAFUBUKI 4) Holy Orders (very tired.....) 5) Malice 6) Midnight Dragon (index version would be pwn) 7) Mugen 8) Power of Love 9) Rose 10) Sakura 11) Scarlet Tempest 12) Sunday 13) Tsuka Bazooka 14) Variations 2 15) ZETA good job everyone. even though i can't play half the pack, most of all the songs were well stepped and fun.
