Tips?
I am a newish FFR player, I can't do these jumpgluts very well. (A jumpglut is where there are 2 arrows at a time really fast, if that explains it well.) I need tips on how to get past these jumpgluts without missing any. I could use any tip an experienced FFR player has. Anything that helps me FC and AAA songs! :_

Re: Tips?
find a bunch of songs from comfort-hard that have hordes of jumpgluts. Play them, for a few days. you'll improve on them just need to focus on them

Re: Tips?
As Guko said, practice makes perfect. When i can't do well on certain patterns i either isolate them(With R^3 engine you can isolate any section in the, "other options" tab or whatever. Incase you didn't know) Or i find several songs with said pattern and simply play them untill i feel like i've improved.

Re: Tips?
If you are "newish" in the sense that you might be considered D1 or D2 in a standard tournament, I wouldn't be too concerned with specific patterns. Rather, the easiest way to improve is to play songs just barely out of your comfort level. You don't want to play songs that you can easily low-SDG or even AAA, but you don't want to be mashing your way through something that is essentially illegible. You will get faster and better with files that push your limits.
The best thing of all to do though, in my opinion, is to make sure you're having fun while doing it. When I'm at the point where playing FFR or SM feels more like a chore, I try to just step away and come back another time. Hope that helps. |

Re: Tips?
Maybe look for a song that has regular jumps next to each other and rate the song (rates can be found at the bottom left of the options menu as soon as you open it)

Re: Tips?
world of dreams on rates
nuff said from experience, you just get better at them as you enhance your overall skill. I used to not be able to FC Reality's beginning gluts, now I AAA them 95% of the time, having done no special training with gluts. Often times, whoring a pattern into the dirt can be more hurtful than helpful. Especially while you're at a period where skill is developing rapidly, getting mindblocked is an easy thing to do.
