Nyan is pretty slow jumpstream. Doesn't really seem much harder than seven just more constant.

Re: New Songs: Jun 8th, 2011
It's 10 TPS, but difficulty can't just be measured on TPS alone. If you were to have a 150 BPM 16th note left to right roll, it'd be 10 taps per second, but that would be something you could see in a high 7/low 8.
Nya is really constant, and that patterns aren't even hard. |

Re: New Songs: Jun 8th, 2011
seven is 140 bpm and nyan is 142 bpm. I find the jumpstream in seven harder personally.

given that you need 6 months or more experience to be able to understand jumpstream period....

Re: New Songs: Jun 8th, 2011
'slow jumpstream' is equivalent to '****ing hardest thing ever' if you're new
is what I'm saying and most people on ffr are new

Re: New Songs: Jun 8th, 2011
Most new people aren't playing 9s and how are most people on ffr new?
And with your theory a whole bunch of 9s would need to be moved up. Being that FFR only goes to 13 and there's only 2 songs even in that 13 category. Lets see that makes 8 difficulties before 9 and only 4 difficulties after 9. So how is jumpstream not appropriate in 9s?

A new player wouldn't be playing a 9 for one...
I enjoyed these songs. |

Re: New Songs: Jun 8th, 2011
only because they're easy to mash and pass
i get what patashu is saying though, jumpstream was pretty hard for me when i was just starting out (even more so since i came from a ddr background) i distinctly remember that in '06 i had to turn off jumps when i played toph's gravity because the jumps were tricky |

I really enjoyed the songs. Final Hour has become one of my favorites.

We have a winner. IMO, Nyan is high 9 because the jumpstream isn't that hard. 2 years ago, it would have been a 10 though jsin. Also I would like to add that this week's batch is awesome . Good job everyone.

I'm hoping a better rating system will come sometime in the future. 13 difficulties just isn't enough to have a nice balance within the difficulties.

Re: New Songs: Jun 8th, 2011
Feeling This REMIX - Pretty interesting remix, chart was pretty fun for an 8.
Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya! - Song was meh, kinda liked the version kjwkjw did a bit better. Chart wise I kinda felt like it was a 10 since it felt a bit harder than Final Hour but considering the length I guess it suits as a high 9. The Final Hour - Chart felt very awkward, but dimrain47 music is always cool. |
