QFT. I've gotten really into drums (I was in the drum line in school, but never really got into kit drums until the release of rock band), so much so that I own a real kit now. I honestly wouldnt feel right on the tiny RB set. At least the set without cymbals. I went and preordered the bundle for right now, but if I happen to have enough money aside for the monster kit @ release I can switch over.

Hey, someone told me that Rock Band 2 instruments would work for Guitar Hero 4: World Tour. Is that true?

That's what all of the reports have said thus far (as well as vice versa), although I doubt if the functionality will be as good using the opposite hardware on the opposite game.

For the drums in particular, it seems to not really make sense. RB uses 4 consolidated pads, GH4 uses 3 dedicated pads and two dedicated cymbals. I can only figure that there'll be a key setting option, thus allowing you to bind whatever drum parts to whichever "buttons" you choose. Doing it this way could even potentially lead to absurd add-ons like cowbell and ****.

Microsoft and Sony have confirmed cross-compatibility between RB2, GHWT, and RR peripherals. I think someone from NS said that if you used RB drums it would combine the right cymbal and right tom to one lane onscreen.

The game or the bundle?

I called a local EB Games and on release, the bundle will cost $189.99. The game itself will cost $59.99. I think that's a pretty sweet deal, being that the Rock Band bundle cost $289.99 on release.

If you want the improved drum kit, it will cost $199.99 alone.

What the heck, what is one more person. ^___^

PM me your address and all the information for shipping and delivering. If they only have limited stock of them by the time they come out, you may have to wait until they get restocked, but I've been feeling generous lately, so shoot.

Once again confirming my suspicions that kids these days have no sense of savings.

Put your money in a bank. Invest in the stocks. Hell, buy lottery tickets. All of these things are better than giving it away to people who don't need it.

At the very least, if you feel you have too much money, donate it to charity. There are a lot of starving children in the world.

Mom has money saved up for Bryce and I for college/university. About 100k each. Our house is payed off so they can save as much as they need to. I do give it to people I feel deserve it, I won't spend money on someone who is a jerk, I check post history etc to make sure they are benevolent. ^__^

I do donate to charity! About a year ago I asked mom If I could donate to cancer and sick kids. She signed up for them, but I have to give her $150.00 a month to pay for it, and it feels good knowing I can help!

Trust me, I think sparing a couple thousand is no big deal. =)

Better like that.

Anyway, I can't wait for October 19th for the bundle to come out. I just got my 360 hoping to be able to play this Sunday, but I learned the bundle only comes out in October and it really makes me sad.
