You wanna step some piano?
I've been looking for people to step my piano songs for FFR. To be honest, it's kinda hard. Given that I don't actually step myself, I don't know the timelines, but it feels like months at a time is rather long.
No offense to my current steppers who I know what situation you're in. However I'd really like my songs to be on FFR asap. you can listen here: www.youtube.com/salownsu123 And pick any song you like. Message me your e-mail and I'll send you the mp3. Sky Strata is currently being stepped by TC_Halogen. All the others are up for grab.

Re: You wanna step some piano?
More people need to start stepping piano songs, there is a lot of good stuff out there to fill the classic genre including your music.

Re: You wanna step some piano?
Just want to remind you it will be months anyway. The file has to be stepped, then the stepper has to wait for the batch to open, then the batch needs to close, then JX has to get everything together and send it to the judges, then the judges have like 3 to 4 weeks to judge the files. Then the files go into queue which usually has a decent amount of files already sitting in it. There are people that waited over a year for their stuff to go in. Lucky it's not like that anymore but I mean I didn't see my file in game till about five months after I sent it in.

Re: You wanna step some piano?
I posted a 200bpm piano song in the permissions forum earlier. I completely agree, FFR needs more of it.
And none of the lame jazzy Oster style crap. |

Re: You wanna step some piano?
P.S. I also agree that ffr needs more piano stuff. That's my fave to play. Still takes a long time though. The next batch is still a special batch.

Re: You wanna step some piano?
Months is pretty reasonable for stepping piano stuff.
A long song with any sort of rubato where every single note has a BPM change associated with it can legitimately take the better part of a year to step. See: The Games We Played.

Re: You wanna step some piano?
Often it's hard to find the motivation to slow a song down to 0.3x, play with a BPM change for 2 minutes per arrow all while listening to this garbled mess of sound.
As opposed to getting a techno song, finding the BPM, making a chart in 20 minutes and actually being able to listen to the song while you do so.

ddream cuts down the syncing time on songs by a ridiculous amount. it still takes time just not nearly as long
