Just wait until people start dying because of FFR...or at least maimed; scarred for life: arthritis leads to prescription drug addiction, which in turn leads to further medical complications and eventually harder drugs and prostitution...it's a slipper slope. MySpace shouldn't shut down because people use it. By putting information on MySpace, or better yet making it public, you are accepting the consequences. You are saying that you know that someone can use that information, coupled with a search engine, to come and rape you or whatever you think they'd do. You're the type of person who would criminalize drugs because they are dangerous in the hands of a few people, instead of looking at the big picture and realizing it's the person's fault, not the drug's, because the person chooses to do the drug.

TL;DR: kill yourself.

I like Facebook a lot better, but people are only getting killed because they put personal information in there. However I do think it's gotten a little out of control. The band thing on Myspace is really convenient though, so I hope it sticks around for while.

I have not seen one person die from a post.

If people are giving out too much information, then maybe they should be smart and put their profile to private. Myspace does have a point, Friends, Relationships, and Business. Either stop acting foolish or GTFO!!

Only read first post, but I have to comment. Myspace is a great way to keep in touch with friends that have moved away, went off the college, graduated from highschool. Instead of looking all these people up, they are always available to stay in contact with. Myspace also does a lot of great things for bands, muscians, etc. Hell, I wouldn't know when most of the local bands in my area have shows if they didn't post them on their myspace. Myspace can be a great tool.
