TWG 192: Sunfan's Cool Game Game Thread

Combined part 1 and part 2 of my reeds list:

Part 1

the following analysis will be extremely personal and jank. and probably makes sense to exactly me. w/e

storn playing twg like its a game of hot potato but wheres the plan maaaan. he reminds me of like haku lite, doing his own thing and saying random stuff or doing random things that piss people off. Problem with thinking hes a wolf is what dbp noted earlier, is he the type of wolf who constantly puts his neck out with hairbrained takes? plus some of the stuff hes said is good and s p i c y.

dont have a ton of xp playing with storn tho so please respond.

doesnt feel like haku is wolfing. sorry but thats just my gut. this is probably the lowest confidence read because i havnt been auditing his posts very well

fatfuck is kind of here. if this were a football game hed be the game manager QB. he moves the ball but how does he do under pressure? dunno lol. ill be the first to admit ive glossed over some of his more verbose posts but i really dont see his stuff kicking up a lot of dust with other people (or me) which always makes me paranoid. another low confidence read

shadow the effort is there but it is very uhhh one dimensional. hes had a few good points but most of his stuff is "what would be the most basic level one reaction to X point?" Or at least thats what ive noticed. making this post is making me walk back calling him a wolf straight up but maybe this is just how he rolls and covers himself as a wolf. another person i dont think ive ever played with so u know what that means: low confidence read (tho i think my early points on him are valid im not sure the jump to wolf suspect is necessarily there)

MML: he always yells and goes at 80mph at anything that he finds remotely suspicious so as you can imagine finding the degrees of separation between wolf aggro mml and town aggro mml is a somewhat of an exercise in futility. I think the ultimate thing that gives me the go ahead to nod him towards town is the results of the pushes. For the most part the pressure has been applied in a constructive way. He has organic pushes too so you cant even accuse him of just going after old targets. even though i find the pedantic arguing between him and raeko really annoying the root cause (raekos vote dump @ eod) is justified.

raeko: eeeeeeeeeeh. Theres stuff here. definitely. dont ask me to remember any of it because i dont think shes done really anything noteworthy this game besides step on MMLs tail and get into a massive argument with him. i know what your thinking "freezin u really havnt done anything either except make nebulous statements, do a bolth kill analysis nobody asked for, and pushed bolth for 3 hours at the start of d0 only to walk it back almost completely."

to that i say you are correct buuuuuut i also havnt been making random quips and statements to try to give the illusion of activity. Which is all i remember from raeko. who has she been pressuring? who has she been suspicious of? i dont know and i bet off the top of your head neither do you. I doubt shes carried any of her suspicions more than 2 posts consecutively

roundbox: nothing really fancy here, just a toneread of him as town based on his play so far.

psycho: wolf lean, this is also a toneread swinging the other way, i dont really like how hands off the majority of her posts are

DBP: slight town lean, his points are interesting but tbh if he doesnt want to be known for solving everything at eod then he should try to make himself available at other times and just casually question people or provide real time reactions to posts

gradiant: town: every game ive ever played with gradiant he acts like this as town so i really dont have to stretch that far for this read. theres a slight element of low confidence though because i dont like leaning so much on past history for a read. as the game goes on im sure it will be reinforced with other evidence and refined

Considering the interactions that happened Start of Phssen I'm really annoyed that Raeko, Storn and to a lesser extent DBP aren't here.

Plop and Pyscho too but I think it's Raeko and Storn not ever coming back and doing anything that grinds my gears the most

I had dnd yesterday dawg, literally all day. And I'm not expending my brain energy after spending 9 hours playing a roleplaying game doing this game. we have an entire day left in this phase

I'm getting kind of annoyed (as I always do) that not being in the thread for one single day is considered "not being here". fuck off with this nonsense, Lar. We don't live exclusively on flashflashrevolution.com

Anyways as stated above I haven't had a chance to read the thread so I'll be doing that now, expect annoying catch-up style commentary if I feel like doing that

and to be clear, the reason why it annoys me is that me playing dnd on sundays and not being here has NOTHING to do with werewolf or any in game information. What is actually shady to you other than "not being here", Lar? Or are you just annoyed that we weren't posting when you wanted us to and not actually consider it shady, in which case why are you even bringing it up?

Iirc didnt he just mention that mason thing recently after it was all said and done? I don't think he actually claimed mason. Maybe he did and i missed it?

Gradiant - Gradiant feels townie. Really nothing else i can add, his responses to pressure are nothing out of the ordinary.
psychoangel691 - Came in and cleaned up the slot in my eyes, havnt really gave a ton of thought to her posts but that comes later.
Shadow_God_10 - Asks alot of questions and short comments on a wide range of stuff. Might be fabricated but not worthy of a d0 lynch

Then this is just gross, give's the "dirtiest reads list ever" for an excuse to hop on the Xiz wagon that already had two votes on it rather than pushing his wolf lean. Feels like an awful convenient jump from one town to another that had some traction on it.

Isn't this kind of the pot calling the kettle black here. You were trying to volume clear yourself all last phase and primarily focused on bolth.

That was my thinking at least, though i acknowledge it is pretty weak in this case because he was really only scumread by haku so those criteria dont really apply. I think its stretching it to bump down MML and shadow on second thought so i think once i add another filter ill bring them back up.

On a side note, I see now the posts you made about the bolth kill and the conclusions you're drawing from that to add to why you're placing me in a wolf pile. Though I'd still really love to know how my posts are "hands off"

The reads list felt pretty lazy to me as well, and possibly just more a way to respond to MML calling them out on not really playing the game so far.

Actually to take it even a step further on this voting. Could've moved the vote on Xiz knowing they were going to hit town and knowing they'd put suspicion on bolth that they could try to use for the next phase. But then when bolth died switched up their game to use it to try to clear those on the Xiz train and using the "why would a wolf fake suspicion on someone than kill them" thing.


Idk maybe that's crazy, but I can't shake something odd being in there.

I don't just drop votes, I've only just begun digging, I came in as a sub and hadn't looked at you yet, noted I was going to this phase and now you're mad that I did? You kinda jumped to top of the list to investigate when two confirmed town put you on their wolf list.

Off the top of my head i can say that i have a post later where i acknowledge that a volume clear is actually not good for town and resolve to not do it. oh no, I saw that post, and then proceeded to continue to see one-liners from you that really held no value so. I'd thought about quoting that one but didn't, guess I should've to have satisfied you.

I've never played with you, I don't know your tendencies. I'm going to call things as I see them. I brought up things that stood out to me and now I await other player's opinions. If you have a problem with this playstyle well I don't know what to tell you, this is how I play the game.

You won't pick through them all because you've been playing lazily through the game and so far seem to be continuing that trend. I've asked twice why my posts are "hands-off" to you and you still haven't answered me on that either. what's the point in voting me if you're not even going to try to continue with me to get info?

The only other legit one i see is you dont like how i jumped on xiz suddenly. Well i am know for suddenly changing my mind so ill explain it so you understand it better: i cooled off of bolth and thought dbp's points + what i noticed from xiz at eod justified a vote so i did it.

I really dont think it warrants as much incredulity as you are showing, and i dont think its wolfy either.
