What really makes the difference here is the regulation. Guns and weapons of smaller entities, even knives have to be regulated. If one needs it that's completely understandable, but they have to prove to be fit to handle it. Banning is of course a silly solution to anything, and no one is suggesting that.

there are plenty of places in america where guns are banned outright, I agree a total ban would be terrible
as far as regulation, I think it's safe to blame it on our bi-partisan government. |
