Okay, it's evident that nobody else is going to post an idea.

TWG POLITICS.

It's the GOP national convention, presidential primaries time. SOME DEMOCRATS HAVE INFILTRATED THE PARTY, AND WE HAVE WORD THAT SOME OF THEM ARE IN THE PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY! How they've managed to play republican for so long we'll never know, but there are definitely more than one of them. It's election time, but even though we're all running against each other, it's VERY IMPORTANT THAT WE ROOT OUT THE DEMOCRATS.

This game will be based on primary elections, all voting will be done via ballot box system (PM), and all roles will be hidden.

The thread should be looked at as a political debate, or a public fundraiser. There should be no discussion of improprieties in public.

Some of the roles will be "illegal" like the bookie from my last game, but i'm going to clarify the rules for disqualification so that there will be no misunderstandings.

In this game, you MAY TELL ANYONE YOU PLEASE ABOUT YOUR ROLE, but if they post your name and your role, you are out of the running. You are also not to post about your role in the thread, or you will go to jail, do not pass go, do not collect $200.

I advise you to be careful about who you tell, because the wolves can save names up, and post them at any time.

18 players. hidden roles. ballot box voting.

politics themed.

But seriously. This sounds fun, and it also falls under the category of TWG so I'm all for this idea unless anyone contests.

So no saying who we vote for? That's lame imo because wolves will always jump the same guy without any repercussions.

I think that needs to be changed/altered so it's fair. Plus inactivity issues. (If people can't vote on a thread they sure as well won't vote in a PM)

Other than that I say game on.

Thinking lightly over this setup, it does seem to be a bit easy for the wolves, assuming standard types and numbers of blue roles are used. The wolves merely make private convo with humans, get a feel for who they'll vote, and gang bang that human, little to no resistance since most player's voting intentions will be unclear due to the lack of thread voting. Maybe your idea for special roles will help this, maybe not, but let us know what kinda of balance there is for this issue. Other than that, it sounds fun.

as far as inactivity, that's a big downer. i can make a list of people who havent voted if that would help... it's not really a big deal if people know who has or hasnt voted yet.

I'm not playing TWG until someone starts a mainstream game with no more than 3 blues, so I vote against all this.

yeah i wanted to wait a while before playing this game, let the whole new idea thing get flushed out of the system, but nobody else is stepping up.
