And there is very little research that points to generalized, harmful effects of GMOs. Quite the opposite. If anything, there is a long history of GMOs that were found to be incredibly safe and if anything superior to their on shelf counterparts (e.g. a more famous example, purple tomatoes, infused with antioxidants and engineered to last longer, but were taken off the shelfs in most places. There appears as if there might be a resurgence, but hey) that were either removed or didn't sell for various reasons. And then you have absurd cases like the GM rice that was infused with vitamins, denied to many countries that needed it despite no evidence of it being unsafe. http://www.ama-assn.org/resources/do...eeredfoods.pdf http://goldenrice.org/PDFs/Opportuni...IBTEC_2009.pdf

Steroids make you bigger, stronger and/or faster depending on what drugs you're using and how much you're taking. Steroids also come with a plethora of side effects which can include physiological and mental instabilities. The safest way to take steroids would technically be to cruise on them. Coming off of them can be incredibly harmful. Not to mention they're illegal. Cybernetic augmentation is meant to be a physiological and/or mental implementation that is meant to only improve, with little to no side effects. In a perfect world of course. As always, you have to assess your personal goals. What are you in it for, and why? Like a professionally certified body modification specialist once said "You do only have one life, and it's best to take every chance you get to try something new, but be cautious of the one-way streets."

Re: The Fitness Thread
Everything I've read would suggest the side effects are only worth bothering about if you have a heart condition or high bloodpressure, which I don't; every other side effect is temporary, contingent on use of the drug. I've researched this, a little bit -- the side effects of coming off of it are mitigated by "PCT" or post-cycle therapy, which typically includes an anti-estrogen and an aromatase inhibitor.
The illegality doesn't bother me. Come on now -- the FFR community is a hub for the Stepmania sim community, which would not exist without piracy and is arguably founded on it. Anyone here who is scared of illegality categorically is living a serious contradiction. If I took them, my motivation would be the same as my motivation for lifting natty -- the results. But like I said, my biggest concern is that I have no way of knowing if what I'm getting is good. Fake tren, for example, is extremely common. I'd hate to inject scam substances into my system and waste money to boot. |

Re: The Fitness Thread
@frank, don't worry about how long it takes to get tired. set small goals for periods of time first (run a half a mile, run a mile, run for 15 minutes, etc). you can stop during the run, but don't quit. i struggled with half miles when i started and would get the same cramps within very short amounts of time, it's a combination of bad dieting and being out of shape (more so out of shape), your body adjusts over time
the biggest running advice anyone can ever give is "shut up and run!"

Re: The Fitness Thread
yeah, I saw your pics before Chris. don't get me wrong, you have done some amazing work and I respect it a ton.
you can do everything I'd like to do naturally, sure, and for the moment I'm doing it natty anyway -- in fact, as I'm writing this I just got back after making some gains -- but, like I said, I'm just indifferent to how I get there. if I could save 1,000+ gym hours by using PEDs without affecting my health (which should be possible), I would. |

On an unrelated note, something in my diet is making me incredibly bloated to the point of incredible pain and discomfort. Pretty sure it's my vegan protein (which I only use because I'm lactose intolerant), and that would be bad. Bad because I hate fish and I like chicken. Here's what my diet pretty well consists of: Bread Peanut Butter Almonds Almond Milk Pea Protein Isolate Brown Rice Chicken Breast Red Meat Potatoes Fruits Vitamin D and Omega-3 Thoughts? Anyone have any idea what it could be? I personally don't think I can eat much cleaner, to be honest with you. EDIT: Not gluten intolerant.

Re: The Fitness Thread
Thinking it may be the almond milk. Cereal this morning caused bloating and pain. Will try eliminating that for a bit and see what happens.

How do you get vitamin K? Also, cereal wasn't on your list.

You've obviously got your diet in check, which is like 80% of the battle, so keep up the good work! You'll look insane by the end of the second year, I'm sure And I'm up to 208 lbs now, but still pretty lean Dat Instagram hnnnnnnng!

Re: The Fitness Thread
On roids: I dont think its nearly as bad as most people say, I don't really care who takes them, and as long as they arent trying to do natty shows, then thats fine.

Re: The Fitness Thread
There's a vitamin complex in my protein. Not sure if serious about the cereal.
About 3 times a week. I don't like vegetables, but I try to eat them as much as possible. To be honest I'm pretty sure the reason behind my stomach and digestive problems as a whole derives from my years on accutane. Had blood work and an ultrasound done recently, so I'll find out soon.
