Re: Challenge Rubix's Computer
World of Warcraft
All graphics under settings set to High In the middle of Dalaran [ask for a mage port] in the middle of the day [2pm-5pm]. on a high populated server. If you get more than 30 fps, then I'll concede. [I have a **** comp and run 1-2 fps at that time >_<] You can get a 10 day free-trial of it - worldofwarcraft.com If you could supply pics of said fps [you can hit ctrl+r to display it] or a short video, thatd be nice. Esc > Video > Set all to high [mines on low and i get 1fps in that city -.-]:

Re: Challenge Rubix's Computer
I made a promise to myself never to play WoW
I have yet to play anything that hasn't easily been able to do 60 FPS yet MINIMUM, even in Crysis

Re: Challenge Rubix's Computer
You need some kind of emulator. I don't remember exactly, but those Touhou got out on a Japanese computer (PC-98).

Re: Challenge Rubix's Computer
ANEX86 runs the first 5 games (those first five have pretty crap graphics, but for the sake of completion, I've kept em in. Now if I could only get Tomb Raider 1 to work, lmao. Freaking old as balls game that likes to not run on my 64-bit system).

Re: Challenge Rubix's Computer
Nabbing FF7-FF10... not sure if it's worth getting anything past that. Haven't played em.
wargasm: Oh, I know. I just know what kind of personality/drive I have when it comes to whoring out ranks/accomplishments/records/whatever, and WoW would be very, very, very bad for me, lol.

Re: Challenge Rubix's Computer
Because I can see it becoming one of those highly-addictive things that I'd rather not get into.

Re: Challenge Rubix's Computer
Anyways, I've got FF7, FF8 and FF9 working -- getting FFX.
What about games with REALLY pretty lighting and/or water effects?

Amazing lighting, water, ground effects, as well as detailed buildings, plants, animals And if you can run the game at a steady 60 fps [some players manage 100-150fps] youll never wanna stop ;D I'm sure if you ever play it you'll not wanna sleep and youll get to the level cap fast xD xD On a more serious note, ill go look up some games Do you want free ones, or do you mind paying? |

Re: Challenge Rubix's Computer
I have a screenshot above with all the games I've got -- already have Crysis (beautiful game btw)
And yeah this computer beasts a few hundred FPS on most games Street Fighter IV with absolutely everything cranked up -- ~150 FPS average (and I even had a bunch of **** running in the background... might try this again with ONLY SFIV on): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aSqBNQa8qgc 3DMark Vantage (26029): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUaUqSRYlJU

Re: Challenge Rubix's Computer
My screenshot of those games should answer that question.
Also it's impossible to run all those games at once -- even with an absurd 12 GB RAM, you can only run so many multi-GB games at once (but, why would one even want to?)
