If someone doesn't hand in their notes by the deadline, what happens? Just curious. Do we just keep waiting?

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Now less than 30 hours left until the judgement deadline.
2 judges haven't done it yet, right? (and want to hear from them about current state). |

Well I'm more concerned about Silvuh, since he hardly posts anymore. At least I know you're active.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Judging things at the last minute is just meh =/
PS: This is why i suggested that we make the deadline shorter so that people don't have to wait for a month JUST to see if their file got accepted or rejected. PS2: Yes, I'm aware why you're making the deadline so long so don't think i didn't get that point but a whole month just to judge some files? Really?

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
New batch experiment: 3 weeks instead of 4 weeks
See how many judges still do things last minute ?_? |

Doing things last minute is the best though. You're more set on finishing it.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
If that's the case, then why not shorten it to 3 weeks to observe if the same thing happens?

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Three weeks instead of a month is a perfect test to see if the judges will do the same thing on the next batch. Two weeks seems way too sudden.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
IMO taking it in smaller steps is better. 2 weeks is way too big of a jump since it's HALF the amount of time lmfao

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
I don't see why people care whether or not judges do it on the first day or the last day. It's been said the notes wouldn't go up until the deadline anyway. So really as long as the judge gets it in by the deadline they aren't holding anything up are they?
Plus everyone's in such a rush but all that's going to happen if dates are shortened is there's going to be more files sitting in queue. It's not going to put them in game any faster >.> |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread v2
Hmmmm.... then maybe consider qqwref's posts about what to do with the files? And Plan B? Their posts got drowned out like nobody listened.
