With the judge deadline being the end of Jan, will the batch open again in early Feb? Or is there a period between the two? Sorry if I am being a nuisance, I got ignored the first time I asked..

just realized that I sent in The Crow's Newspaper without adding silence, and the first note starts right away. I'll take care of it once I find out how it does rating wise.

@ Justin: more than likely, once the notes are up, the batch will reopen immediately after.

EDIT: just realized that both Cheeseburger and Strikebeam are missing their artist tags...gotta remember that about DDream. I really hope I don't get auto-rejected for something as simple as an artist tag when it can be added later.

I felt like I didn't have an awful lot to talk about this time - am I not being proactive enough in looking for flaws and too easily accepting 'good enough' products, or is the batch reasonably good this time?

As strict as I was, I only had 8 files that were ? or lower (including re-subs, I had 11 accepted files), and this is with extremely detailed notes. I spent a ton of time looking at some of these files. We -definitely- got the good side of the batch.

I can resubmit a file from a batch before the site went down right? I forgot which batch it was, but it's pretty old. Would it count as a resubmit or a new file at this point?

anything that was submitted/rejected from before the site went down should be submitted as a new file

Does anyone else think this recent batch was inundated with IDM? I know the SM scene has an affinity for it, but by the end of my section I was drowning in snare rolls.
