Clockwork is my favorite FMO, even if it's borderline

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
You guys are spazzing way too much over this. I haven't played these yet except for Clockwork yesterday, but why does everyone complain about jacks? There's a reason they're there, the difficulty is accurate, so stop complaining. Thanks

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
btw jacks on the song aren't problems at all (in terms of both technicality and playability), it just drags on a bit due to its structure and the song (slow js).
as for this song deleting/disabling/leaving is basically up to the song/step author. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Just played them all. I really enjoy all of the new files. The only one I really see a problem in is RAN. It's not the file itself, it's great. I just feel like it should be a FGO.

RAN is a damn hard file, and I expressed some dislike at first, but I actually have come to enjoy the file, despite the insane difficulty spike straight down the middle of the chart. It's nice to have a challenge once in a while, and the chart does its job as a 1.) proper and plausible interpretation of the music and 2.) a difficult and tough to score on file. Op. 10 No.9 might be draggy to some people, but the file has great relevance to the song. FFR needs more classical music. The file does the song justice - sure, it difficulty spikes with the mega-jacks, but you know what, it does a great job portraying the shift in intensity within the music. I saw a few judges give this a [+] in their reviews, and I would have done the same. I enjoy this file a lot. |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
Checking the OP, please don't add Prokofiev, one questionable piano file is enough, the song has bad sound quality and the file is repetitive

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
It's there to stop people from complaining. If I can do it, a lot of others should be able to!

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
/christmas song discussion.
Go talk about it in the christmas thread, more people will see it there, and be able to chime in. The main problem with this thread is that too many people treat it like a chatroom, when it should primarily be about discussing the queue and upcoming batches. If you want to have a tangential judging argument that's going to take 6 pages, make a new thread about it. /commonforumlogic\ |

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
You still can talk about the legitimacy of judgements here, but yeah basically these things should be discussed in FFRMas thread or ingame song thread.
btw I'll review borderline files soon. |

Most of the files with huge FC-difficulty spikes are either high FGO/FSO, or very old files (CP, RunnyMorning). I honestly don't see why we need more files that many people will PA but won't FC.

Re: Queue/Batch Discussion Thread
moderate difficulty spikes are fine. as long as the difficulty spike is within 1 difficulty of the base difficulty of the file then its ok.
