Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 3
I finally FC'd the Funny Funky Freaky however my PB is 19-1-1-1 (The AVG.-BOO-MISS in the roll on 3/4 of the song ¬.¬).
This happened because I had not much lag but with lag this is unplayable. Last edited by JotaCeOK; 07-11-2016 at 08:55 PM.. |

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 3
I'm in this interesting spot where the difficulty curve is too steep to just bang on the song and expect a better score, so its hard to figure out the best way to improve.

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 3
bang on different harder songs to refresh your mentality and then get back to smashing it, mix it up and throw the tourney song in every few plays and dont stress, ust do and be calm and try to react to it instead of focus too hard or you'll get too tense and worried or anxious. You absolutely will improve by simply smashing more as you'll train your speed, stamina, and muscle memory along the way and eventually be able to trivialize this through all around improvement, dont give up

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 3
I mean, to an extent. I've been trying to hit good PAs on increasingly more difficult songs while throwing in some out there ones to build speed, and it seems to be working, but one of these rounds I'm going to have a better chance FCing RATO by smashing it then getting anything done smashing the tourney song lol.

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 3
I HAVE HIT THE SAFE ZONE! Not that it's gonna stay that way, but a dream run happened.
Holy shit I am so happy right now... until I get knocked out of it again... what, tomorrow? maybe the day after? THE QUEST FOR IMPROVEMENT CONTINUES. I am also not getting better at hands overall... just getting better at this particular set of hands. It feels weird. |

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 3
Either D2 or D6. D2 because our struggle isn't real enough, or D6 because the struggle is too real, and the massive pile of AAA's have to stop. I foresee many, many tiebreakers in D6...

I mean, you gotta do what you gotta do, right? If the tournament demands assblasting, then assblasting we shall endure.

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 3
Hmmm, just about 5 goods is the cut off for D6.....
I'm going to give it my all over the next couple days... But, I don't think I can outlast the cutoff :/ I mean i've had AAA runs to the final Purple Triple Jack section and all out get fked up there... Other times, I can AAA the entire song other than the first Triple Mini Jack section, and then other times I'll AAA all that and screw up in the bursts... I know people say they are jumpjack'able, and I agree and see why, but if you use that timing tool and look at one of my replays, you'll see I HAVE to hit them as they are for me to obtain ANY accuracy whatsoever.... Either way, it's a fight. Congrats to Deidara for the improvement, kinda been cheering for you under the radar because we both are fighting o/ |

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 3
Wait, what's jumpjackable? The bursts??
I feel like it's really difficult to get a low SDG on Kanon jumpjacking anything other than jumpjacks, to be honest |

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 3
Yeah, if you truly look at the 32nd bursts, you'll see that they can be JJ'd. It's meh. Back in the day I could JJ them and be done with it. I'm very "close" to my old skill if not there, but I don't have the ability anymore to just "cheat" a file. For some reason I HAVE to hit things now. >.<
EDIT: Also, the problem with them is they would need to be JJ'd at a slower pace than what the file moves at. I dump goods galore with that problem when I tried it. Last edited by ZanmatoFusion; 07-12-2016 at 08:52 AM.. |

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 3
I gave Kanon an isolation run and tried jumptrilling the bursts - they're fast enough to cheat-AAA, but it's tremendously difficult to have to repeatedly transition between jumptrilling bursts and hitting everything that comes before and after them normally. Especially because some of the burst-rolls are 1423. It just takes a lot of concentration to figure out what to cheat and what not to
Good luck anyways, though! Am rooting for you ^^ Last edited by MikeShinoda12345; 07-12-2016 at 09:02 AM.. |

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 3
D6 will be the one getting the "ass-blasting."
D2 does not need it. There are just a few players who are clear front-runners. |

I will not be cheating Kanon with the JJ'able bursts. I'll still hit them normally. The song feels more "normal" that way if you understand what I mean. But, I'm currently warming up with SM for the morning. This afternoon, i'll re-warm up and whore some FFR and hopefully obtain at least 3 goods |

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 3
I didn't cheat the patterns in Kanon at all, and all my goods come from weird stuff that isn't in the hard section. Oh well.

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 3
Hope you're right! I'm starting to lose my edge in these later rounds. I have a feeling the much later rounds (if I make it there) will be murder.
