@Dissonant, seeing how you are skillboosting quite well over the past few days, my advice to you is when you said "need to let my arms rest" just take a quick 5-7 minute break and then get back to cranking scores. It helps to do this when you want to increase your stamina, consistency, and a tad bit of muscle memory. Taking say a 30 minute break to relax your arms negates the stamina gain to a point and also negates the muscle memory that was gained in order to control a particular pattern (the one your muscles remember and know how to perform).

Also a subtle change within your speedmod especially if it was originally a tad bit faster but you could manage is the fact that it increases readability overall, but specifically with certain patterns it's beneficial to have a faster speedmod (IE: 48th Walls in Husigi / 48th Walls in Kirlian Shores). It's still great to see you back and skillboosting!

MNIN is still one of my favorite players sitewide and that is why <3

@DanO, I assume you are talking about the [12][12]3[12][12] patterns (or are they just double tapped jumps without the single poking in)? I felt the same exact way when I got my 8-0-4-0 on Scrap, it all consists on how tight you have to hit those split jumps. You could easily get my score on the chart no doubts!

@LostPotential, very nice Anything, and that Stinger is very reminiscent of your former days (which may become these days soon?)

Thanks! And yeah I actually continued to play a little more after getting those scores last night and that was when I was able to improve the tourney song, woulda played more last night if it wasn't 3AM at that point lol. But yeah slowing my speed mod helped for my pacing on patterns like JS which is one of my biggest weaknesses, when my speed was higher I would tend to hit fast JS and bursts too fast so the little tweak helped me learn the timing on certain charts a little better. I also tried increasing my speedmod as well when I was trying to find a more comfortable one and it definitely helped with readability on the really high difficulties but was still too fast for me to hit as well. I'll see how it goes though, I was just surprised I saw immediate results with such a minor adjustment.

keep playing technically well-rounded files like Rain and you'll continue to skillboost naturally everywhere else

really shitty good so kinda mad, forgot the pattern manip I do towards the end of the solo to deal with shitty frames since I haven't played this in a while

worst public < 92 is 2g now though, that's pretty cool

am I the only one that thinks it's crazy how the only change between your scores is the miss moved to an amazing? perf count is identical.

Walrus can def AAA that; especially looking at the graph that shows roughly only a section that he can probably iso and perform in a run soon imo

ik it's not FFR but it's literally the only decent score I got today on the path to erase 6 weeks of rust
edit: aka i'm gonna try to get some actual scores tomorrow

as for other news Win10 made my FP14 work with 0 offsets there's still lag but now I can do rates
